ok i will be honest with this review....
1) Story - u need to know seed and seed destiny till the falling of jupitor seven on earth to really get into this series......

my thoughts is that if they would have taken some earth tragedy or some new stuff... other than seed related...... and made it into a proper 1:30 hr gundam movie... same story... same concept... only in those new 30 mins... a new way to reach the story ad in introduction to what are coordinators and stuff.... and if possible 3d... this series will be one of the Best Gundams out there..........as it could have been a beautiful stand alone....... and DEFIENTLY it would have been dubbed..... YES it is better than the other gundam OVAs and much better than victory gundam....

2)Animation..... similar to seed.....

3) No dub... so disappointing to me as i would have bought this..... but jap voices aint have bad....

4) character...... lacking really..... as its 50 mins u dont get much info..... but by the end... if u see in 1 go.... u will be attached to sven and selene but only them....... actaully for 50mins it has an amazing character involvement... but only 2 characters....... the side character roles arnt very strong.....

5) i love gundam... i love series with endings which leave u hanging.... i love stuff like romeo and juliet..... and slice of live..... has all of these... and much more.... WARNING - very dramatic... not for weak of heart... i cried when i saw this......

ok and this is the DVD version so... it has more scenes DUH!..... it has the 3 min long Ending YEPPY(its beautifull)... and some scenes after the credits..... which is truly the main reason why i cried...................

This was one of My fav animes when animax had started....
though if i remember the dub animax aired for this was.... different.... and better...
but dont let that disappoint as the US dub isnt half bad either......

now i have always been a fan of games like Ace Combat(5 was my Fav.... amazing Story)
and i remember playing Area 88 on video game but it was called some thing else.... but i remember the main guy looked like shin....

anyway back to the review..... Area 88 is mainly for ppl who like flying stuff....

though this anime is about planes fighting...... it also has a heart touching story... which can move us to tears..... hell i cried when i saw this anime......

my fac ep is the one with the sniper... i just love that EP....

not something new... but as its based on City Hunter let me tell u....
Ur in for the most funniest ride ever.......
out fo all the jackie chan movies i have seen... this is the most funniest of them all...
the main character is ....... a person who wants every woman in the world........
though due to a promise.... he cant seduce his assistant...... who actually loves him....
This is a really fun story....... its kind of stupid but so darn funny.... the starting scene is some what like "Mask"..... the guy is shot by 20 bullets.... but still gives a one minute long speech....

i think the dubs not that bad..... only a few places i think they could have chosen better wordings.... but trust me its good..... im only disappointed that..... they only call him City Hunter... not Ryo.....

Love Jackie Chan as City Hunter....
he has done an amazing work
though his hair dosnt look like City Hunter.... and that he uses a lot of martial arts while the real City Hunter uses mostly his Magnum...... but still
He captures the main .... well... feeling of the character....

after a lot of trials... i chose this version.....

1)Story - i just loved it... a teacher who was a window washer..... gang member and with a good police record..... and on top slightly perverted.....

He must win the hearts of a class which are know for making 3 teachers quit and this class..... dosnt trust teachers......

Onizukas voice is perfect..... but i dint like the other voices.... wish tokyopop gave it as much importance as there Intial D.... and many VA voice more than 3 characters... so expect to be confused.....

ok i have been a big fan of kouga ninja scrolls...
i got into Basilisk mainly due to Shinobi heat under blade...
i never liked the manga much...after all its is a action based series... which arnt that fun in mangas.. and the manga dint have much character development either.....
i also own and have gone through the book Kouga Ninja Scrolls... which has a bit more detail than basilisk.(in case u did not know,basilisk was based on that book)
the ending *no spoilers* is extended in the anime by showing a future scene

first thing first.... if u have seen shinobi then u know what uwill expect.... WRONG... the ending of the anime is way different than that of shinobi.... but the gist is similar

The Story revolves around 2 tribes.....
Iga and Kouga.....both destined rivals...
though it seems that a new generation of the leaders..... has fallen in love with each other.... just like there grandparents...... who were never able to become one until..........*no spoilers*
any way the pact which forbid fighting among them has been nulified.....
and it seems they are all the players of a contest....(not your average mortal kombat)
but they dont even know why they are being asked to fight by the ppl who were respnsible for stoping them...
all questions will be answered as the story continues....

what i call basilisk is Romeo and Juliet in ancient japan were the worriors used Ninjutsu(ninja techniques)
its an amazing story... addictive.... One of the best dubs by FUnimation if u ask me..... the VA's were PERFECT for there roles and the translation was quite good for FUnimation standards....... expect many things in this short anime series.......

Character development....... now this depends...... we get to see a lot of development in Oboro... who slowly tries to mature along the anime as it progress but yet her feelings are a big road block...
what pissed me of was that before i knew it my fav character was dead.......
u will fall in love with many characters in this anime...

Ok this was definetly one of the Best Case Closed Movies Out There
i though nothing could be better than Last Wizard of the centuary...but there were many questions in the end of that movie which was kind of a let down.....but conan did say in that.....some things are better not knowing or something....

anyway this is the 5th movie in the franchise and yes its dubbed(thank God)
same cast as the series........

Story - Amazing Story..... but be warned this story has a lot involved with Ai...or Vi(dub)...
and its sad to say that the Vi eps were not dubbed and not released so dub fans..... adviced check out that chpter in the manga.... or the subbed version for a better understanding of the story...
if not then pay attention to the starting intros...........
and Finally we get to here Gins Amazing Dub voice again........

though if i rember there was 1 flaw in the story.... but i am unable to remember it........
this story takes place when the Detective kids are more matured than the series or previous movies.....

first things first
i think a Dub for this movie will totally Screw it.........
i hope VIZ keeps the same Voice actors and do a much better Job at syncing then they did with Death Notes Live action.........
and the dub actors need to show a lot of more emotions......
especially for Hachi(from one piece) as i dont think the Jap actress has given that much justice............. but Viz does have an amazing cast for the Dub but if the try to change the Songs to English..........that again can screw it up...........

but in order to understand her character in detail, u need to read the manga or see the anime.....

This anime reminds me of visual novel games........
1st thing is that its really really slow....
2nd Very repeative .....

When i saw Ep 01 in like 15 mins i was bored Like HELL......
i was like whats so great in this anime .... it seems like a love story..... but dint i know that it was totaly wrong.....
i though that i wont be seeing anymore eps of it but........
the ending of ep 1 caught my attention.......
it was only due to that 3-4 sec scene that i saw more and more and more of this anime.............

Story - First things first..... before u start watching see steveyks info.....
the anime is nothing but alternate re tellings of a similar situation but slowly slowly revealing more things about the village which we as observers need to connect the dots....

in the end its not just one anime but a number of animes your seeing at a time.... which have the same backbone......
but an entirely different conclusion..........
and all takes place at the same time......
it s pretty interesting style if you ask me......
some thing which makes it more and more like a visual novel as it shows the result of all the paths you have chosen........
something which we are not used to seeing.....

Animation - really good......

Sound - i like the dub.....
and it has an addictive opening......

Character - we get to see some different types of character developments in one person depending on the situation which again makes it more like a visual novel.......

Enjoyment - you will defeiently enjoy it once u get used to how slow the anime picks up but when it starts to come to wards the end of an :Chapter: it really picks up pace dragging you deeper and deeper...... and the harder it is to go out......

only thing is that u need to be interested in finding a reason for which you want to go deeper in it or you will get bored in the anime.....
like for me it was the 1st ep last scene......

i mean if you get bored in the 1 st chapter which for mostly all is extremely slow...... why would you want to see chapter 2 which slowly becomes faster and interesting.....

what im saying is that u need an interest in order to enjoy an anime like this......

and so far only 130 have been Dubbed and 2 movies
with more coming this fall .......

its an ongoing anime.....

Story - about a teenage detective being shrunk to a little kid by having an untested poision and now he is trying to locate the culprits , hiding his true identity and living with his girl friend whos father is the worlds best detective(sarcasm ....)

Every episode they have a new case well atleast almost every episode
so the chances of you getting bored are slim........

Animation - a bit old for the current age(though must have been pretty good when they started making it) but i kind of like it.....

its not as great as Bleach,Naruto and On Piece
im talking about the animation not story....

Sound - i like the dub

and Plz see Dub without Subs or you are in for a laugh of your life...

trust me i know as i had dl like 5 different version after searching like hell on the Net and all sucked so i finaly gave up and did the AVI's

Psalms of the planet is an interesting anime

though this anime isn't a type which everyone likes
the first time i saw this anime i dint enjoy it much mainly due to the freakin confusing story.............

this time i am sre-watching it with a lot of concentration and to make things better, with sub,
i am finally able to understand MOST of it....

the story seems to be the main thing which sets it apart from other Mecha based animes......

though the action cannot be compared to gundam and code geass, it has its own still and the addition of LFO's has given it a slight unique taste........

Renton was one heck of an annoying character at first and if u can bare him for 10 eps you are all set to watch the show.......

all he does is whine and cry and cribb.......
but the beautiful girls of Gekkostate save the day..........

though later we get to see renton's relation ship develop with eureka and then how he changes from a baby to a real man......

yes maybe hair may have finally started to grow there.............

like the title says "Bleach: The DiamondDust Rebellion - Another Hyōrinmaru".............. anything more can be a major spoiler....

the movie is very enjoyable

Personally i though Momo would be there somewhere in the movie as she was one of toshiro's pasts character(from the series)......
but she has no role in this movie which was kind of disappointing..... but still the story was excellent....

there were a few question which trouble me from this movie
1) is how is Zangetsu alive
2) how is Zangetsu alive????
i mean ichigo uses his Visered form in the movie.........

anyway without considering that
the DUB is mind blowing

This Anime is a pretty good anime
its more like a to be continued type if im right
it will hopfully be continued in the 2 upcoming eden of the east movies

Story - Excellent Story.The reason i saw this anime was because i heard the first ep had a nudity scene but was surprised to find that it was actual a man........so i wanted to Delete it but the strange reason he has no memories,the cute girl searching for her prince,and most of all that super awesome mobile phone made me want to see more

the more the anime goes the deeper you get in the story and the more confused you get(till ep 3 or 4) but onces you start understanding it,it becomes realy interesting.

Takizawa akira is it?or is it some one else.Are You A terrorist or a hero,are you a criminal or are you innocent?

these are some questions which seem like which will never be answered..... or will they

to find out you must see the show ^^

Animations a bit down compared to bleach,etc but it seems over all the full worlds animation level in 2d has gone down(like Wolverine and the Xmen animation sucked compared to the Origional series and evolution) but the fall ist as bad as that case

Excellent opening and that too in english

Over all the series is very enjoyable

Acording to the Eng Version,but many of the ovas were released as movies in Japan and it looks like thats why steveyk mentioned movies but according to Dub its only OVAs

i remeber seeing this anime in English Dub and it was Awesome

if your a fan of football and most of all Captain Tsubasa series you wont be disappointed

a teen who loves football but cant enjoy it as he is always comparred to his older brother who is a footbal player for AC milan is trying to make a different identity for himself,by colouring his hair,etc.
he ends up being forced by black mail to teach orange hills girls team football but then he starts to enjoy and gets back into the sport and soon joins the boys team and starts making his courier.

The Diff between this and Captain Tsubasa is that this has slightly more drama,love story,better animation,no names for attacks,and unlike Tsubasa the main team losses a few times like in finals etc,unlike tsubasa were they always win

If you compare it to Road to Dreams then the story of Hungry heart is the main advantage

The Anime as Nice Music and not to forget an amazingly awesome Dub
but the first ep sub dosnt seem bad either nor does the encode

Though Let Me Tell You This
This Anime unlike Majority Of The Sports Anime Is More Like Reality
There are many ups and downs
and the last episode is a masterpiece by itself

and the character development in Kano is amazing

though plz dont judge it by the first season 1-26 i think
the animation becomes Awesome later
only in the start its a bit Ok

The Anime has an excellent start.
By the 6-7th Episode your hocked to the series.
Funimation has done a pretty good job dubbing the Anime.

The anime had an good ending
The Anime features fast passed action scenes which are really enjoyable but they are a slight few in number.
The character design is amazing.
The story is pretty interesting espacialy after episode 18.

This is one of those rare animes which have a great ending and a great end too.
Almost every thing seems to be explained till the time the anime gets over though i still dint understand 1 episode i think it was 14 or 15 very well. but it dosnt seem to affect the story much.

The Anime Opening is Amazing.

Welcome to NHK is a pretty good anime
though there are quite some differences between anime and the manga especially the ending

It shows the life of a guy who left college and looked himself in a room spending most of his time either watching Tv or on the computer.His parents used to send him allowance enough to live like that.
thpugh when he gets irritated with an anime opening and bashs into his neighbors house only to realize that for 6 months he was living next to one of his childhood friends who he had saved.

Together he and his friend decide to make an H-game which gets Sato our main character slightly addicted to porn,H-games,and even MMORPGs.he becomes so mad behind it he even goes out in public to schools for panty shots.He gets dragged into pyramid schemes used by salesmans,and even participates in a offline meeting.............

Sato being a person who was confined to a room for so long has a strange way of thinking than most people.
some times he visualies his tv,ac,Pc and fridge talking to him and saying that all this is a Conspiracy set by the NHK(japans way of making more hikikamoris)

Whats more interesting is why is the girl misaki so eager to help Sato get Out of his Hikikamori ways and why does she always demand a million yen and why does she keep using the term "Project"

whats worse is his parents are cutting his allowance,his best friend is leaving him.........what will sato do to live on?

If u need to know about team work,friendship and Basketball this is ur anime
its not that Funny as Slam Dunk But its more interesting than Slam Dunk

The Story is a simple story
new guy comes to school and changes the full team
and helps the team to break through there past

the Animation is pretty good

If u liked Initial D Subbed Then u will love this as the Dub Keeps the Eurobeat Music unlike initial D Dubbed which will probly be the reason u will like this anime

Excellent show.Great Characters.
1st Half is Fun but second is more interesting as it has Near and Melloo(the chocolate man)
L was the most entertaining person in the full show while misa was ultra sexy through out.

Manga is better any day though(thats the main reason i prefer the second arc)
If u want to see it in Short with Better Animation i would advice u to check out the REwrite Specials

Well Dubbed.And The Quality is Outstanding.
For ppl who havnt seen the anime can see this movie as it has a very good introduction and explains all Conans Gadgets too just like first movie.
Its a detective Movie so im pretty sure Every one will Like it.

The movie was a masterpiece What a beautiful ending
an other Perfect ending for the anime(OVA kids)
I just loved this movie
it has a beautiful Story and as it is a DVD ripp the quality is HQ
The sound is a bit of an issue as at some places its big at some its low(thanx to my friend who ripped it-his first try)
Love Als New look and mustang with the pirate eye patch.
Edward looks taller(hard to believe).
and wrath...................feel sorry for him.

The movie had a good show and there is also an appearance of scar and lust.
Envy has been evolved into a ***** trying to avoid spoilers.
a realy good movie with an excellent end

The encode is sweet but the dub............................
was good(had for a second dint i)
well actualy not good as the sony dub.the characters are good and korama is properly the best
i had seen the movies before the show so i knew it was about spirit detectives and stuff
the start seemed slow but later becomes a bit fast,slow again the fast and slow........
though i enjoyed the Ending
wish yuske never returned then the anime would be even better(HATE HAPPY ENDINGS)

Though the movies are more enjoyable the seires had many ups and downs
Worth watching once

The opening are good but if u realy want to go for a 100+ show then better go for DBZ,Naruto,Bleach or one piece
if u only have time to kill then this is a good choice
though i never saw any detective work in the whole show
and there wrnt many ghosts ghost more like demons
it should be called demon files or something

Great Dub and the animation is unbelievable if u keep in mind it was made in 2000
A small movie which is being made into live action
i hope the live action lives upto this standard

The anime was pretty good and this movie was also awesome
got to see the teddy bear back in action
the dub like the previous one has a few scenes were its out of sync
i found it quite difficult to understand the words said by that guy who keeps roaming around with afro

The Anime was Good
a one time watch type.
The opening was pretty cool but the dub kind of sucked.
i dint like the dub at all.The anime is about alchemy and weapons and homonculi
if u are searching for something like Fmas homonculi then you will be disappointed.
Though there is a girl similar to orihema(Bleach) and even sounds like here too.

It was an Interesting anime

Confusing anime though.in the middle they are in a quiz show and all was kind of confusing
and its hard to say what was a dream and what was real.
The animation is good.The Idea of having your life already planned is quite scary.
And were the entourage affected by the cagito virus which pots a soul in them.
The Anime Could Have been Made More Simple.
If you are having a bad headache, or arnt in a position to see something Complex Avoid this anime.
Its hard to understand the Full Story in Detail of this anime in the first time you watch it.
The second time its more clearer.

This was one heck of an anime
the characters look totaly awseome
and not to forget the fast paced action scenes(there are very few but the ones that are there are awesome)
and the story PERFECT the ending was so beautifull that it made me cry.

This was a well done sequel to vampire knight
the start was a bit slow but by the time your on ep 5 your hocked
i think this would have made a better Live action Drama or something then just an anime

The ending was a also good had a sense of in completion(hoping for a sequel but dont think my hopes will be heard)
I just pray the The Dun coming out in the end of they yr for Vamp Kinght should be good.
we get to see a lot of kanames past and also we come to know the real reason why he always protected yuki

The movie Was Good
the Tried To Combine the 1st 3 stages and a small thing from 4th stage
Reyosuke is AWESOME
while takumi looks like a dork.
Itsuki looks good.Funny character just like he should be.
Bunta looks AWESOME too but he is portrait as a violent man and an excessive alcoholic who can fall as sleep any time and as a Pervert.(Wow Womans underwear - in the dub he says its not even mine)

Like its mentioned its Ipod/psp quality
so be careful to remember that
if u see it from a bit distance from the Pc screen u will enjoy it.
ok drifting scenes.....
they could have focused only on 1 stage and made the movie a Lot Better

a very well done Movie,not comparable to Basilisk though
The Story was very well done especially the ending..............
The Music in the movie is also great especial the song Heaven
The Dub is also well done though there is a scene were the lip movements are not in sync.
The characters look good and i must saw tenzen reminds me sepheroth(FFVII)
while yashamaru looks totaly cool.
Oboro looks stunning and Genuske is not that bulky as he should be.
Good special effects.

I dint find this new yu-gi-oh show that great.
The Voices arnt good or better they dont suit the characters.

No yu-gi-oh show can be compared to Season Zero.
Duel monster Yu-Gi-Oh was also well dubbed and so was Gx!
i expected more from this yu-gi-oh! series

The action in the show keeps getting better with an new and excellent opening and ending(both no.3)
Clestial being Continues to Fight to eradicate war but slowly slowly the true plans of There Founder starts to take surface.

With the arrival of the A-LAWS who also have GN-solar reactors the battle becomes more intense.
and now that Gram Aggar has got himself a smaurai looking customised flag which is capable of using Trans - Am and ali all who has Gundam Throne the battle keeps getting more and more intense

Beautiful ending.Excellent Ending.
made me feel like watching it again.
you just cant judge this anime till u reach the 2nd Last ep.
the Ending is a totaly surprise.

The Encode is also excellent.Well done again Steyek on this Masterpiece
its a small anime which tells ppl that in future children can marry at an age of 13+
a very well done anime and must say the dub is also well done.

This Movie Was a slight disappointment after the first
it dint have many plots and the ending was totaly crap.
Rem sounds more like a Male but yet again there is more L in this so that again made it 7/10 for me.
The Movie introduced a brand new rule to the death note series which is actualy the reason for the 3rd Filler type Movie and as well as the new Ending.
This movie isnt as good as the third or first but the Dubbing is done better than the first one as there are hardly a few places were lip movements dont match.
when i first saw the movie till 2 Hrs i was like AWESOME but when i saw that this movie would be the conclusion one it broke my heart.i wanted to see Near and Mello in live action which we dont get to see in this one. Though in the 3rd we get near who looks like crap.

i on the other hand enjoyed it.
i mean so what if the lip movments dont match in a few parts but the dub was overall well done.
You get to hear the Beautiful Voice Of L and that is more than enough to give it a 7/10 for me.
The Story was a little similar to the manga.There were many simlar plots aswell as a brand new one involving Lights Girl Friend.

Though it is virtualy impossible to Convert 13-15 Episodes of the series into a 2 Hr Movie, I think they have done a good job.

I would request ppl to Judge This and the anime and manga separately
If you Dint like it then dont judge the whole series.I guarantee you that the anime is way better and more interesting and the manga is on a completely different level intself.

Claymore is definitely a must watch.
A lot of Fast Passed Violence and blood sheed and finaly its a WOMAN who is doing all the dirty work.
Claymore has a very unique story.The Ending Felt Quiet Incomplete but that's basically the way i like my series.Though when u are watching this anime it always makes you want more,more and more...........
and the last episode GIVES YOU JUST WHAT YOU NEED.The Story Revolves around Clare who is a half-human and half yoma(types of demons) on a quest of Revenge.She is accompanied by her cook Raki who seems to be useless till the end of the show.
The Animation is outstanding.
You get to see a lot of character development.
The Only let down is the music.
the opening and ending both are Excellent but the music in the middle of the series isnt that good.
the music most of the time dosnt fit in the situations.Thats the Only Complain i have about this series or else its a 10/10
