this anime dosnt show any nudity... except some images which can be devastating.. like a yakuza boss pooping... Many erection scenes.... and guys comparing others "equipments".... as well as gay sex.....

OK story -
TOOO FUNNY... it has action and a lot of funny shit... though funny stuff is almost all sexual related... but this series truly explains why EIKICHI ONIZUKA(the teacher from GTO) turned out how he is...
this shows his and his best friend Ryujis... days together as the onibaku duo(which if u have seen GTO must be very well aware off)... this shows us parts of the eikichi we know like never let a friend down... also it shows us how horny he was and would literally do anything to get laid.. and dont forget he loses his virginity in GTO.. so imagine how successful his schemes were.. i am laughing already....
through out the story we also see the classic Kawasaki Z750RS Z2 as well as the CBX400 which are Onizuka and Ryujis Pride...

Animation - Old school... almost like GTO... but i like such animation and i feel it suits such series a lot... animation is almost similar to GTO's

SOUND - my major compain goes to stupid tokyopop for not dubbing this.... i would love to see steven blum and kirk thornton rephrase there roles for this...
as for jap... i just love the guy who does ONIZUKA... the way he cahnges his voice from cool smart onizuka(in front of ladies) to delinquent onizuka (DELINQUENT FLASH HOOOOOOOOOO)

Characters - For GTO fans this is an epic series
as it shows Onizukas bond with Ryuji and how he met Saejima (who in GTO is the corrupt police guy who helps onizuka out) as well as the last signal death race girl...

ENJOYMENT.... i AM LOLING like crazy HERE....

ENCODE.... really sweet... considering source was VHS i couldn't have asked for anything better

OK first of all, Shiki is a must watch for vampire lovers.... especially if u like suff like vampire knight(even twilight fans will love this)..
the story... is very simple and nicely placed.... i seriously enjoyed the anime as its pace was never constant but that made certain eps more interesting (eg. the ep were the doc operates on.... u know who[yes voldermort] was trully mind blowing... i loved the work they did with making it like a documentary... u can seriously feel the determination of the doctor)... this series has one bad thing and that is ep ends... it ends at such a place u feel LIKE WTF just show the next part already....
though the story gets very very predictable... but as i said its a simple story with a nice execution...
My only complain on the story is that very and i mean very little is givien about the characters background.. i wish they shared a bit more knowledge on how the "family" was put together and more information on the daughters past..... though they did show enough to make u understand the gist.. but i was very curious to know what happened with the guy that "started it all".... but i guess as that dosnt matter in the story... we can assume he walked away...
other wise i liked the story.... and it was nicely paced.... and keeping the series so short avoids u losing interest as well...

My complain is the character design.... the only reason i am giving this series a low enjoyment rating is cause of character design.... this series would have been soo beautiful if only it had more realistic art.... especially the eyes so it would make distinguishing much much hard and far more interesting.. it deserves character work and animation like monster... or even ghost hound...
i feel these character designs are one of the 2 MAJOR drawbacks of this series.

Sound.... its claymore all over again.... nice OSTs... but at same places timing and sound tracks are just awful..... i mean wrong sound at wrong time and place.... though dont get me wrong... i actually love the themes in this series and cant wait to get the OST.... only timing and positions are the issue....
another reason why i am giving sound bad.... is the ops... this series dosnt deserve such openings... the opening animation was quite bad at some places(u can see murai coming twice with a cut(mainly i guess that cause they made less footage).. and dont make me start ranting on the opening theme.... it deserves more of a monster type theme.... the second OP was perfect.... only the first was.....*pukes*.... it was a good op... but definitely misplaced for an anime like shiki

Encode.... i have tried... bhanus,turtles as well as jayanths...
turtles are the best.... bhanus are HD so its pretty good for it.. the results he achieved at that file size are worth looking into... while jayanths are almost at par with turtles... so encodes full (keep up the good work guys)

OK i will try to forget that steveyk is my very good/old friend.... and will try my best to consider him as a normal person....

Story... - EXCELLENT.... i mean the first season is what truly captures the magic... of the manga... and i have to say the few filler eps were also very good...
the reason i am giving it 10/10 is cause this is only first season.... second season gets a 3/10 cause it was HORRIBLE.... and i mean HORRIBLE.... second season ruined the anime... but the first season was perfect...

Animation... to be honest fell in love with it when i saw it for the first time in 2005-06 and i was simply admiring the beauti of which it was made....
its still one of the best animations out there...

Sound... i was a big fan of the sub... and when funi announced this dub cast i was like... YES YES YES.... only doubt was monica riel as sakura.... and she does manage to do the job... but i expected was .... far far far less than wht i recied.... i remeber asking my cousin to buy Vol 1... and when i first saw the 4 eps... and the performance by J. Librech i was trully pushed away... he was PERFECT... and i mean PERFECT....
the english dub made the jap performances look bad.... and i am not kidding this is one of the BEST dubs out there..... One of funis top 6 Dubs...

Character.... syaoran.... no i dont love him... but cant help but falling in love with him... and fai.. and kuropoo.... but most of all I LOVE MOKONA

Enjoyment... u like clamp u will love this... but remeber this is an incomplete series.... so u cant find an ending to it.... yet.... but there always the manga ^^

OK first let me tell you this
What monster is...It is not your average anime, no fan service, no beautiful characters, no big eyes, many characters are fat as well...all this indicates,its 99.99% of the real world....it has everything.... red light districts,cops,robbers,jail breaks, hospitals, orphanages, pubs... everything... almost like....
THIS CAN ACTUALLY HAPPEN....
And that is what truly makes this series a "Monster"....
Actually after seeing this series I felt that it was showing the truth and what we live is a lie...
It is that realistic...
So if you want to see a series which is suited for almost every person.... and trust me this series truly pulls you in..... it is a must watch...

Now the main aspects
Story - amazing story... clever plot... only 1 mistake in the entire series.... that is the language barrier... I wont give spoilers but will mention it in simple way... if a Indian goes to America and doesn't know English.... yet he is able to communicate with almost every American in Hindi....(not even English)..... Now this is like the only flaw in an almost flawless series....

Animation : realistic.... I mean it's not pretty to look at... but even our world isn't beautiful to look at.... which just makes it more scary...

Sound : this depends on you.. personally I prefer the dub... amazing performances.... as for audio track is involved.... I would say at some points it gives goosebumps.... while others... it may seem out of place..... but the opening and ending.... are just amazing....

Character : Now the long text blocks... every one is good.... and what I truly love is the every side character has some type of development and that every character including the people who appear for even 1 episode... help in strengthening the series..

I would like to specially say about a character name Yohan.... he is the most beautiful character I have seen in all those 400-500 series put together... he is truly a master mind... and his origin and all make a lot of sense...(if you think its impossible.. re-see the series.... it is truly possible)
I love his methods.... especially in episode 49... I seriously fell in love with him for that episode... he was truly the best character and that smile of his.....*goose bumps*... that's one episode... that will stay with me for a long time... and he likes cross dressing.... and he has a nice curvy body... to bad he is a guy.. or else I seriously would consider marring him...

Enjoyment - Not a dull moment...
Now this you all should be aware... many people complain the series is too long and the plot can be summarized to 30 episodes or so.... WRONG... the series is at a slow pace from the start... keep it at a total fixed pace without wavering from one episode to another like other animes... again... and that what introduces to new characters... whom u get attached too even if they appear for 1 episode...

Encode - leaving it blank.... up to u to decide... personally I didn't enjoy it... downloaded the original itune rips of 300 MB... but then I am quality obsessed... so I had intended to download those from the start ^^
