I was extremely hesitant in wanting to watch Kanon, as it was made by Key, the same people who made AIR TV which was so depressing aswell. This anime really surprised me, it not only turned out just as depressing if not even worse than Air, but it immediately climbed to become one of my top favourite anime of all time. Visually and in every other way, Kanon 2006 is stunning.

I have not watched kanon 2002.

Storyline:
Each of the female leads had their own arcs which unfolds consecutively, aside from Nayuki and Ayu who unfolds together. It seemed a little awkward how Mai is used cheaply to create a link between them, but that’s ok. The style of Key is always about leaving but cherishing the moments that (they) had, which is kind of depressing (like Air which I’ve felt so depressed after watching) but luckily the ending concludes everything nicely.

Story Style
One bad thing about what I’ve seen is that ALL these characters are, well, somewhat far from reality, as these kinds of “behaviors” are your typical anime style of protagonist-focused personalities (act cute and practically sticks to the protagonist no matter what happened). Thankfully this is a plot concentrated series, which makes this unimportant.

The atmosphere setting is amazing, with all the background animation, sounds and music, that really pulls you into the story and become part of it. Full of character development, it feels like I’ve already watched a series in just 5 episodes. Despite it’s kind of slow pace, it’s actually hard to get bored watching this.

Animation
Designed by Key, animated my Kyo-Ani. Need I say anymore? Excellent.

Music and Sounds
Sticking to the original visual novel music is nice but the OP tends to get boring, although the great visual effect accompanied with the song delivers impact. The ED conclude each episodes wonderfully, but I tend to skip it (on to the next episode).

Their voices are really attractive and made a real impact on the quality of Kanon and the enjoyment. (doesn't have those raspy voices which make you tend to hate them after awhile)

Overall
It deserves a 10/10 in every aspect. It delivered every aspect I wanted and expected from it and brought out real emotion during dramatic scenes. It made me sad but really I was happy. Excellent anime and very well done .

One of my favourites and definitely worth rewatching. Clannad is another one of my list that I tell people "YOU MUST WATCH". It is a work of art and I really enjoyed my time spent watching it.

I cannot really top Taurgis' review as it pretty much tackles everything I would say, however I seem to rate Clannad much higher, nearly on the level of Kanon 2006, Air and Shuffle! to be completely honest.

The artwork is superb, the music is superb and the drama/romance is incredible; the audience and viewers (as i personally have felt) get a great sense and feeling/relationship towards Clannad's characters which makes this anime that much better. I enjoyed watching simply because Clannad grew on me and I started loving it.

VERY highly recommended for any of you drama/romance/comedy lovers out there that haven't seen Clannad yet (where were you? in a cave?)

And great news, its even onto a second season! yes the ongoing Clannad Afterstory follows up after the events of Clannad. Very awesome indeed :)

Black Cat is a rather 'decent' anime which I enjoyed way, way, way... back when I first started watching anime. The story revolves around Train Heartnet who is a trained assassin, nicknamed Black Cat or just XIII (13). He is the most feared among hired assassins and when doing his usual rounds, he shows no emotion whatsoever... until he meets a girl on top of his roof. Cliche right? You can pretty much predict what is going to happen right from the start or even from this mere description. Well... on to the review - I will keep it short and sweet.

Characters: Yea, Train is pretty cool. But I ain't a fan of watching anime where the main character is some almighty powerful thing and throughout the series, shows no development at all. Black Cat is pretty much exactly that. It gets old and boring pretty fast.

Storyline: Far to cliche for my liking and not enough 'depth'. It seems to run on a very 'simple' level and doesn't aspire to create any dramatic effect for viewers or have them make moral choices or guesses etc. Its very linear in my opinion and I somewhat lost taste pretty fast.

Sound: Can't really remember the music but I do remember them attempting to place drama in the anime and the music did not suit it at all. It ruined the effect and the appropriate mood of the anime at quite an important part. However it wasn't something I payed any attention to at the time.

Overall:

Not my type of anime and definitely did not satisfy my expectations from episode 1 till the last episode.

In fact, the last 2 episodes feel like 10 episodes squeezed into that little gap. The ending was EXTREMELY rushed and actually ruined it for me completely.

If you just enjoy play gunfights, cool fighting scenes and the theme of a 'pro' or seasoned assassin, then this is for you.. otherwise keep walking :P

I was rather surprised by this and oddly was quite sad that I didn't choose to watch this MUCH earlier. After only finishing half of it recently, I was glued to my seat and really enjoyed every moment I had watching FMA. It lived up to its high reviews and expectations, it truly is a 'great'.

Quick Summary:

Read anime description
Omitted.

Storyline:
At first I was reluctant but the storyline actually progresses at a very smooth level. The transition between ordeals arcs aren't just 'forced' in order to leave a cliffhanger. The story is well thought out and the idea of being a 'alchemist' for various reasons is a pretty good concept. Especially in Alphonse and Edwards' case to becoming a alchemist.

The story is very touching and right from the start, it enticed me to continue watching to see if they ever will be able to fix what they have broken. I really felt something for FMA and it is actually sitting near the top of my idea of the best animes I have ever watched.

Sound/Animation:

As I said, I only just recently watched it and FMA is quite old(2003). The animation is still very fluid and is rather well done but not the best.

Sound was actually pretty decent. Good use of music and sound effects brought FMA a very good 'feel' and the viewers appreciate this.

Characters:
The various characters are so-so. Apart from Alphonse and Edward, I didn't really pay attention to anyone else as none were really 'memorable' or distinct in their own way. But still enjoyed watching it all.

Enjoyment:
10/10
Loved it and found it as an exciting anime. REALLY enjoyed it. Only problem I had was while surfing the web, i accidently stumbled across the ending of FMA and it kinda ruined it for me as I still haven't finished watching it. Eventually I will but yea... i hate finding out the end of animes... :(***

Awesome anime, watch it!

Now I know this is quite early but I am a fan of Akikan and Melon is my claimed charactered so :P

Its too early to go into a thorough review on this anime so I will keep it brief and update as the episodes update and we get more and more into the plot.

Quick Summary:

It is rather an interesting plot rather than something that you just 'like'. It tickles my fancy so I decided to try it out and I was rather surprised. Akikan is all about 'Empty Can' girls which appear from cans of drink purchased and infused with a kiss from the purchaser (carbon dioxide) to live. This is where you meet Melon for the first time as she doesn't want to simply become 'trash' when they finish drinking her. Along comes Kakeru Daichi and it seems he cares about cans (collects them) and much to Melon's surprise, he doesn't want to just throw her away. More cans eventually appear and the introduction of the Steel vs Aluminum can war becomes apparent

Analysis:

Like I said, I started watching because its a rather interesting idea. As much as every other reviewer has said their views on why Akikan is a horrible show and so forth, I actually think its quite good:- Kakeru Daichi isn't a complete idiot, hes actually a refreshing type of protagonist, while he goofs off all the time, and as the usual cliche of animes - lives alone and is single, he actually has some brains and speaks some wise words at times which made me immediately like him. Melon (awesomeness) is rather weird at first, we haven't seen her progress much as a character but it will be interesting to see how it develops.

What mostly attracts viewers is Najime (supporting role and in love with Kakeru Daichi), she is actually awesome. Her excellent personality and attitude towards Kakeru Daichi is what keeps me somewhat entertained . Her expressions are hilarious and I wouldn't mind seeing her become a much more dominant role in the anime.

With the recent introduction of a Grape Can and a Sports can(both aluminum), it would be interesting to see how far this story develops and if it retains its fun and entertaining atmosphere along the track as they fight with Melon (steel can)

Overall, this anime is fun, its filled with comedy and I will definitely keep watching. I would recommend it if you have some time and don't want anything thats very 'serious' but rather just 'fun'

This anime is so-so. I didn't really enjoy it as it was pretty much the same from episode 1 to episode 24. Not something I enjoy seeing over and over.

Storyline:

See anime description
Omitted.

General Analysis:

This anime is a "Happy" love story. There are no dramas involved. The girl has endless love for the 1 guy, and the 1 guy loves only that 1 girl. Nothing tragic, just a happy love story. Along the way there is harem and whatnot to make the show somewhat enjoyable but all in all. It was a 2 or 3 episode anime, stretched to 24 episodes. Every episode I watched was exactly the same as the one before it, with a change of scenery and scenario. Nothing exciting and nothing to get you blood boiling (nothing to make you angry or sad etc)

The main role, Kaoru, isn't some idiot as seen in many of these genres. So in the least, that was fun to watch.

There isn't much to say about this anime; it was 'nice'

Animation was somewhat poor and very jerky and I didn't really enjoy the characters and their personalities etc. This just isn't my type of anime.

If you want some thing that is 'happy' from episode 1 to episode 24, then this is for you

This review was intended as a single for the entire Code Geass (season 1 and 2). So this review is the same as the one placed on Season 1 so people can read it thoroughly.

What can I say badly about Code Geass you ask? Nothing... it is just that great an anime. I loved watching it and I had me on a entire weekend stint, watching both seasons in 2 days or 3 days. It was the best (and the worst) 2-3 days ever.

Why you ask?

Cause its so goddamn sad/happy/frustrating/enjoyable anime.

Quick Summary:

Look at the anime description. It summarizes it pretty well.
Omitted.

Storyline:

The storyline just grabs you, holds you and doesn't let you go afterwards. It keeps you watching endless hour upon endless hour and you completley lose track of time. Code Geass is one of the top mecha/action/thriller/whatever animes there is. It has everything, from the main character being 'somewhat' an evil guy but with good intentions etc and he has the brains to kick. He uses his intelligence as a weapon in a war which can come to an analogy of 'chess'. He sacrifices his pawns for his own plans and he controls them just the same.

Warning: this will get you hooked, make you feel happy, sad, angry and frustrated - All at the same time. Trust me... its a weird feeling..

Sound:

From what I remember, the music was alright, it did its job and presented the moods and flow of the anime very effectively. However it gets a high rating because its 'sound' was so good. The gunfights, mecha noise, everything was well compiled to create an appropriate atmosphere. Very well done in my opinion which upped my enjoyment even more.

Characters:

Wow.. Zero.. you will love and hate him a multitude of times throughout this anime. He is the ONE character, that I am still unsure whether I like him or if he's a favorite.
All main characters have their roles in the anime and in Zero's 'game of chess'. Whether its important or not, Zero plays them to their abilities.
All characters are rather sophisticated, I enjoyed attempting to guess every move and often were proved wrong. It was rather fun interacting in that sense with the characters.
The one thing Code Geass did well was to build viewers relationships with the characters, have them become enjoyable and then BAM!, throw in a death or some catalyst that sparks tears. I swear, you will punch walls, break whatever but still continue to watch to find out what happens next.

Enjoyment:

VERY well done. I loved it and is one of the very 'few' animes I would instantly recommend to anyone who has not seen it. It is a much watch, must see type and if you aren't watching/have not watched it then shame on you!

Take your time, get some food/drink ready and be in for a blast.

Sorry to all you bleach die-hard fans out there but this anime just isn't what I would call "great".

I have watched up to episode 1 - 202 when writing this review so I know what it is like: fillers and all

Quick Summary:

Too long to expose a summary of 200+ episodes.
Omitted.

What is "Great" about this anime:
Its fun to watch. I like the idea behind it as it is a rather huge series. Even the fillers were somewhat 'enjoyable' just for fighting and something new to do (sorry I dont keep up with the manga so I'd don't feel the same 'hate' as some of you do for fillers).

Great smooth fighting scenes, every fight is somehow a little bit different and orcastrated in an exciting way. Easy to keep your attention on this.

Every female has massive... egos, so its ok :).

Seems every arc is followed through progressively and explained at a childs level so it truly was intended for younger viewers.

What is "not-so-great" about this anime:
It has the usual cliche idea behind it: kid is in trouble, kid gets saved, kid finds out he is some super bad ass person, kid goes to save as many people as he can, no matter who it is the kid always stands back up from being mortally wounded and always... ALWAYS wins/defeats whoever.

Has no rewatch material. Once you see it, its just another episode. Nothing memorable because of its 200 episodes.

Has no 'real' drama, You can predict everything and nothing comes to a suprise or twist. It just flows as its intended. Nothing special.

Gets boring VERY quickly (atleast I did, it in no way stimulated my imagination nor my actual brain - It never left me thinking "ooh i wonder if this, this and this will happen" or second guessing anything. It happened exactly as it shows. Quite ordinary but just enjoyable

Enjoyment factor:

Its ok. I still keep watching it but just out of enjoying the odd fight scene etc. I am not really entranced by this anime but its still decent in its own genre, aspects.

A very touching and emotional/inspirational anime.

Quick Summary:

Yuichi is a rather long-time patient at a hospital for hepatitis. Though it isn't necessarily dangerous, he still has to be maintained in hospital care for a long period. Yuichi isn't one to be confined in his bed, so he is often attempting to escape outside in the middle of the night. Much to his nurses disliking, he is always causing her problems. One day a new arrival from another ward (for critical patients), a girl, Rika, arrives to settle into a new room. Soon after being told to befriend her, Yuichi attempts to get on Rika's good side. Even with her rude, arrogant and impatient attitude, Yuichi does what he can for her, because she might not have long to live.

Storyline:

The storyline is very heartfelt, be ready for tears and I don't mean just sad ones. This is an amazing display of a setting so simple, being able to conjure such a touching story. While I watched this short (6 episode) anime, i could not help but be moved and inspired by Yuichi's actions and as his feelings towards Rika grows, i could not help but shed a few tears. I just have to say, the storyline is perfect, it really is.

Animation:

This anime doesn't have any flashy effects if that is what your looking for, however the reason why I deducted points here is just at some parts, the movements and actions done by characters felt a bit delayed or odd. Other than that there isn't much to complain about, it is just that good an anime.

Sound:

Very moving sound with such a storyline. It isn't a comedy so their use of sound was very limited to setting the mood. And it did a great job at that. Really great job.

Characters:

Character development is also top-notch. I was swayed by the characters emotions and 'feel' throughout the anime and it made me want to keep watching. It is one of those series that just makes you forget time. Next thing you know, the whole 6 episodes are finished. Just brilliant in my opinion
I did however not award it top marks. As much as the story is centered around Yuichi and Rika. The only 'real' arc which was explained is Rika's physician. Other than that, not much characters 'develop' in the sense of showing their arcs. This is understandable though as in this 6 episode anime, it is rather good that they avoided it altogether rather than force their stories in.

Enjoyment:

I love this anime. The ability to progress a touching story such as this in 6 animes is rather incredible. It doesn't feel rushed at all and each episode doesn't feel forced or stuffed with plot related circumstances JUST to fit in the anime. Rather it was well done, well thought out and very inspiring. My enjoyment of this is through the roof.

I can safely say, you if haven't watched this yet, your a fool; what are you waiting for!

It is part of anime fans' "Must watch, Must have"!

I have so far only watched up to Episode 10 when writing this review. I will update as I watch more and when the anime is finished.

Also this is a review, not a spoiler. I will conclude to the best of my abilities of how and why I found this anime so good but I will not go into a detailed synopsis of each characters and their arcs as that spoils the fun of this anime.

Quick Summary:

The story takes place after Casshern has killed the worlds 'Moon' or 'life' so to speak: Luna. Casshern has lost all memories of what he was in the past and after Luna's death, this brings around a terrible affliction.
The World is undergoing an age of 'Ruin', where robots deteriorate and become weak, fall apart and eventually die off. All Robots seek salvation from this cursed world and dream to live for eternity. A rumour has spread that our main character 'Casshern', will be able to provide this so called 'eternity' if he is devoured. Slowly Casshern grows and rather than just destroy anything in sight, becomes a protector of sorts to Robots and humans alike.

Story: 10/10

Amazing story line. Each and every episode is captivating and kept me watching constantly. Rather than just a normal anime which follows through with the main plot in each and every episode, Casshern has sort of Arcs in every episode. You watch and understand little by little the story of what took place back in the past, and how that has caused problems in the present. It is a VERY gloomy anime (dark, serious and mysterious). I enjoyed it a lot as each episode brought about tears and emotions for what the world is dealing with and how Casshern is learning about what he has done and what he is.
Definitely one of my new favourite animes.

Animation: 10/10

Amazing yet again. It may seem different to the 'norm' of what you watch everyday or so, but bear with it for the first few episodes - it grows on you VERY fast. Extremely smooth animation, awesome fight scenes that really displays the potential of this anime. I love watching some of Casshern's ordeals as well as the details that distinguishes each character and creates a personality. It is a joy to watch something this original and well produced. I would not change a thing.

Sound: 50/10

Sounds outrageous but the reason why I rave on about this anime is the music. If you watch and pay close attention to the music, you will be bewildered by the quality and effort put into this anime. Music often makes or breaks anime dependent on where and when they use and what type of mood it sets. Casshern brings about some of the best mood setting music and definitely is a highlight of the anime. Extremely well done in my opinion and yet again, I found it a real joy to watch as the sound is what often evokes the emotion in an anime. (For me at least).

Characters: 10/10

All characters in each and every episode has their own arc explained as Casshern travels the world. Very touching stories and you really feel for these characters. Some (most) come to a very sad ending but thats what this anime is all about: the retribution of the world and its dark presence. I absolutely love each and every character in this anime and thats what I think made it successful. Each arc is well explained and concludes perfectly. Yet again, I would not change anything.

Enjoyment: 10/10

Absolutely loved it so far and will most definitely keep watching it.

Last Words:

Awesome anime, very original and very unique. I often do not like giving out high marks as it may be misleading in a sense but I found absolutely nothing wrong with Casshern Sins. Well played sir.

I will keep this updated as I continue to watch this excellent anime

Yet another anime that I have come to watch, grown to like and have been left resenting the choice to ever watch the whole thing.

DearS has an excellent storyline which had a lot of potential. It started off well and left me with a smile on my face, hoping and wondering what is going to be in the next episode.
As I continued to watch, I ended up having to force my attention on the anime.

Quick Summary:
Storyline is all about an alien race which has crash landed on earth called DearS, Ikuhara Takeya encounters a DearS girl wearing nothing but a blanket and decides to take her in. As events take turn, it becomes clear the DearS have a natural instinct to 'find' their master and become a slave. As much as to Takeya's disliking of this concept, the DearS girl, now named 'Ren', have decided to fulfill this position of a slave for her unwilling master.

Storyline:
Quite a nice storyline I must admit, but the anime could not be portrayed any worse than it is now. They left it ending open far to vaguely and the actual plot was extremely forced. The last few episodes felt like they tried to fit the entire storyline into them to make up for the other 10+ episodes which progresses at a turtles pace.

The over-the-top comedy was funny in the first half of the anime with the teacher being exceptionally sexual and the friends obsession with 'cute girls and porn'. However, they decided that it is best to have this type of comedy in EACH and EVERY episode where ever possible (almost as annoying as the trio of villains from pokemon appearing constantly for no apparent reason... over and over again). Even during a plot defining moment of when emotions are released, they had this type of comedy appear and it literally made me shut down my media player to type this.

Music:
Music was very lively and attempted to appear 'fun'. It kept the appeal of a comedy and the impression of every episode being 'fun'. However they went over the top with the music and even used such lively music during events/catalysts which would often be quite sad. This completely ruined the mood and made it feel like the anime wasn't really serious at all about the development between characters. Very poor.

Characters:
Takeya pissed me off. This anime would have been so much better if they decided on a different type of heroin. Takeya is clueless as to his surroundings and feelings and even till the last episode, demonstrates complete stupidity, misunderstanding and generally flawed character which REALLY put me off this anime. Ren and Mui (the two main DearS girls) are well played and they were definitely the highlight of watching the anime. However, as I said, the storyline was rushed and felt squished into the last 2 episodes. The relationships/feelings for one another was completely underdeveloped as though it appeared out of thin air. It lacked any guidance for how characters would progress with one another. It simply just 'happened'

Overall: A weak 4/10
This anime was annoying, not enjoyable and the only reason I continued to watch it was my 'hope' for it becoming better and that I used my bandwidth on it, so didn't want that downloads to go to waste.

Unless your desperate for the whole 'master, slave relationship', I wouldn't recommend this as there is so much better in the same genre.

Please Teacher! is about a boy named Kei who has a terrible disease in which he enters a state of sustained animation which prolongs not only his life but preserves his age and stature of a boy:- which as you know, will cause problems.
One day, while spending time by his usual spot at the lake, an alien appears before him. Kei's initial instinct is to run away and decide to forget about the ordeal however the next day, while Kei is sitting in class, his school announces that a new teacher has taken over their homeroom: Through the door walks 'Mizuho Kazami' the alien.

The storyline is not very original nor does it stray from the usual path of rom/coms (romance/comedy). Beautiful girl lands, becomes teacher and a bond is formed. While it was rather unimaginative, it made up for it in a storyline that somehow makes you smile. You nudge on the characters and want them to finally realize their feelings but it gets a bit tricky, afterall they are student and teacher, which I personally found a delight to watch

Animation is so-so. It does not have the usual flashy-artsy animation of this type of genre and sometimes you cringe at the sight of some of the characters at various points. Somewhat put me off.

Music is average. Not much to say as neither the OP and end caught my eye (or should I say ear). It did not dazzle me nor set the appropriate mood at different situations. It does however do its job.

Characters itself are somewhat unlikable. The main character is attempted to be put in the light of a 'good' guy but has an obvious defect. He doesn't want to hurt anyone feelings and rushes to make decisions based on this rather than, ironically, thinking of the persons feelings hes about to hurt. His character flaw is that he seems rather useless and throughout the anime, I didn't pay much attention to him.

However Please Teacher! does have its good points; its enjoyment factor. I personally enjoyed it just for a fun watch. Its short, its sweet and cuts to the chase.

A meager 6/10 in my books as it felt a little rushed in certain areas of the anime.

Ouran High School Host Club is all about a tomboyish girl known in the show as 'Haruhi'. She dresses like a male and initially is mistaken to be a normal male. Upon stumbling across an abandoned music room her endeavors include becoming a 'host' to entertain women while taking on the persona and image of a man.

Ok, so that pretty much is the jist of it, to get an idea of what sort of anime it is. I however don't wish to go in-depth into explaining the show as it defeats the purpose of watching it then.

I have to say that Ouran High School Host Club is by far one of the most (and I mean it) entertaining animes in its category that I have ever watched. Every episode is a blast filled with humor, humor and more humor. Fantastic story for any anime fan to enjoy a series that is very 'light' in romance and drama. Every show brought more excitement to the table and made me enjoy every setting when switching between a 'Commoner' and them 'rich bastards'

Haruhi is an extremely likeable character (as much as I wanted to say very cute, it just didn't sound good for a review). She is by far my favorite character in the entire anime and I admit, I watched it just for her. No this is not due to some sort of 'crush' or 'hotness' but rather, if you watch the anime you will see how her character catches and sustains your attention, her attitude, personality and how the animators brought her 'world' alive. It was very entertaining to watch her ordeals and how she put up with most males (if not every male) falling for her even before they knew he was a she.

Downside to Ouran High School Host Club would be the lack of romance/drama. As much as I enjoyed the series for its active, energetic and funny atmosphere, I was longing for romance and drama to rear its head. Alas, it does show up in the series but that is why I would say the show was very 'light' romance/drama.

Artwork is superb and fit right in with the type of anime they were producing. Every character and their arcs were very involving but sometimes, I felt I wanted to just skip the whole episode and get back to the plot. If it didn't involve Haruhi, I wasn't interested. While the storyline was entertaining, it does not progress very far from its initial standing. It is rather a anime about developing relations between the characters and their families rather than a progressive storyline to reach a goal.

Music was rather decent, was done in the right way, right place and it left an effect on you during important catalysts. The use of Mozart's music really brought the sense of "high upperclassdom" to life in the private school and set the mood for relevant events.

To leave on a last note; I would recommend this anime to anyone who wishes to laugh, laugh and laugh some more but don't expect much from the story line.

I however thoroughly enjoyed it (even though I wish it was longer as I wanted *something* to progress further) and quite possibly has re-watch material.

Overall I would rate it a 7.4/10.

First off, let me just explain that it is EXTREMELY rare for me to ever rate anime so highly as to provide a 10/10 in each category.

All readers must note:- This is a MUST SEE.

Now onto the review.

As many active and die-hard anime-fans should know, this anime was done by KEY. One of very few companies that produce such high quality anime, with such high quality story lines which invoke so many emotions simultaneously.

I do not wish to spoil this short anime for you as it is very easy to go in-depth of the characters and storyline, however, that would completely ruin it for you.

Story: 10/10

The storyline is incredible. It is very unique and very inspiring.
Like I said, it is done by KEY.. is there much else to say?
There would be no way to grade this type of anime other than how well it invokes emotions within you.

This anime on quite a number of times left me tearful and joyful at the same time which is a rare feeling. On several occasions, Air left me crying like a little baby. Extremely powerful show.

They paid attention to every characters arc and past arcs. The detail really shows. Superb.

Animation: 10/10

Flawless as usual for KEY. Every character is portrayed flawlessly.

Sound: 10/10

The music is absolutely perfect. There no anime that excels further than Air in terms of being able to match music to the feeling, emotions, and atmosphere of a scene. Just hearing one of the songs, Giniro in the last episode (or second last, don’t exactly remember) was enough to make me cry. The OP, Tori no Uta, is a beautiful song, and one of my favorites.

Character: 10/10

Each and every character in Air is extremely well thought out and well done. The transition for viewers as an on-looker to having an intimate relationship with the main characters is extremely easy and smooth. You grow to like each character and you feel the pain the characters feel as they undergo different events. Not many animes can accomplish this feat.

Summary:

KEY is notorious for their widespread animes which come to a very sad ending but leaves you feeling... complete. I would go out far enough to say that the best animes in this genre I have ever watched, would be from KEY.

Air is one of the saddest, happiest, mood-changing animes I have watched and by far the most successful.

This is a MUST SEE in every anime fans' book.

Suggestions:

If you have watched Air and realised the beauty in this very emotional anime, then I would suggest one of the following for you next-to-watch.
All guaranteed "MUST SEE"'s.

Kanon 2006 - KEY.. .say no more..If this is not the saddest anime you have ever watched..there is something wrong with you. See it! Now!.

Shuffle - awesome anime. really enjoyed it.

Clannad + Clannad Afterstoru - Incredible anime, very moving, riveting and
emotionally constructed
