quick summary:
a very weird anime yet if you set your standard about anime to 'unusual anime' then you'll certainly enjoy these series a lot.

story:
these series tell about a lesbi(yes a lesbi or you'd call it yuri)girl named kanako who loves women but hate men and she'll break in hives if a man touch her.she enrolled in all girl school just to meet her own fated girl but she'll regret it later because the first girl she met is a boy who cross-dressed as a girl.
Because kanako know about his real identity now she(he)'ll always keeps an eye of her 24/7.
you'll certainly enjoy her life in this all girl school.

Animation:
nice.I certainly enjoy the art a lot since jin kobayashi(creator of 'school rumble')is the one in charge of these series.

Sound:
horrible.don't expect a good OP/ED song from these series.

At first glance,this is just your ordinary action anime but when you have watched it past episode 2,you'll get attached to it.
The story is simple actually,our hero,kamijyo touma live in a fantasy world where esper is normal.
and as usual,he is the weakest esper there,at level 0.but his power isn't something to be laugh at.
every other powers that come in contact with his right hand will be negated.then she meet with index and that's where the story evolving.
story:8.5/10(round it to 9 :p)
animation and sound:it's nice and fitting IMO,not great but not that bad.
oh,there's some blood here.just a warning.
the character:the main hero is like any other action anime,kind hearted,a "will do evertyhing for friends" type.the development of the character is good here.well thought,and although he's pretty much powerless,he use his brain.

enjoyment:well if you like fantasy action anime,I think you'll enjoy this a lot.

I'm a great fan of tales of the abyss game.
I'm still playing it atm....it's my 7th time.
to be honest,this series sucks.
I've too high expectation that the adaptation will be good and although I know that it's inevitable that there will be some missing story(mini story) from the game but they left out the most important parts.

the animation is good,a great improvement from tales of symphonia.
the sound...uhh I think it's adequate atm.
character,overall good.but I still can't forget jade's voice and attitude in game.
also,the in-game characters looks cuter than in the anime.
If you're a die hard fans of tales of the abyss I think you'll be disappointed by this anime.
just my opinion though.
