Though Futuristic it is bounded by realism
Infinite Ryvius story left a deep impression on me. Just watching the 1st episode isn't enough to keep you going on for the next. I would say the 1st episode is not enough to state the main conflict and them of the whole series... But why would I give a 10 to the story? - That is because we must consider the whole 26 episodes. This is definitely one of the Psychological Genres that I would consider original and good to watch since I've watched a Psychological Genre - Monster! I recall I got the overall conflict and theme the moment I've finished up to the fourth episode > I can't give up wanting for the next episode up to the last episode 26.
>Anyone into behavoiral Sciences and Psychology would definitely enjoy watching the whole series. Even though futuristic it is bounded by realistic behaviors of all the characters in this series. - Also educational to the point of view on how a society develops given the same controlled conditions in the story.
Anyone wants to be Good Turtleland the Third? You are still normal. Anyone who is similar to any character in this series. You are still normal! What matters most is how you will strive to improve. Learn from the past, live for today (if you are a Bible reader please consider Mathew 6:33), do not worry about the problems that can't be handled by yourself alone (consider Proverbs 3:5,6) ,and look positively forward to the future!
Please watch and enjoy everyone! You'll definitely wanting to be the good guy once you have completely watch this!
I hope there might be a 2nd season of IGP...
Anyone who loves Racing Anime should watch this! Characters and their development as the story progesses are quite good! (For example from being immature to being a responsible adult) You will never stop to anticipate the flow of the story - you'll be surprised for some unexpected development in the story. You will really love the Brown-skinned female lead character here compared to the light-skinned female nerd. (not mentioning names so as not to spoil the fun. Just watch!)
Also I would like to comment of the Labeled Genre's posted here. It says "Genres: Drama • Mecha • Sci-fi • Sports " - >> You'll find out that there are some Humors in the story. There's also comedy in its classic sense >> Watch the 1st episode where you'll immediately find a humor on the the male lead character!
The CGs are really good! - kind of reminded me Basquash mecha...
Let's continue the excitement!
Yup just as the commentators from Vandread 1st Stage did say - The story plot is unique so far. Or I say this is something new! The story writer did some heavy research and a good imagination as if to imagine a outer space scenario story. I've watched Futuristic Outer Space Story like Heroic Age, Macross Frontier and several Gundams so far and I've found Vandread 2nd Stage and as well as the Vandread 1st Stage to have its own uniqueness of story and plot. I hate to be a spoiler of some sort - the ending is similar to the overwhelming feeling I got from watching the ending of Heroic Age. There are mysteries that were uncovered.
Overall message! - Take care of Planet Earth!
The Character's you will really love them and their innocence - so nasty narrow minded people should avoid watching this anime.
Great Computer Graphics and you would expect from GONZO's mechas. Really this was aired 2001? I can't believe GONZOs technology to be on par with the great mecha CG of Macross Frontier of 2007. -Wow! That's GONZO for you did a great job in pioneering in CGs!
I recommend buying the Original DVDs and Blueray Media of these (If its available!)
Now the Encode is 8. (that is why earlier I recommend buying the Originals) This rating applies also to Vandread 1st Stage that was posted here on Minitheatre. And why is that so? I'm curious about the ending music of Vandread... aren't there any of just the encodes? Hmmmm
Don't Judge the Anime by its Title
I've thought I've already anticipated the flow of the story by just watching the 1st episode. And to my amazement after considering the story flow up to episode 10 (as I recall) I can't help but make an anime marathon out of it and watch it up to episode 26.
STORY
10 for the uniqueness of the story
ANIMATION
10 animation technology for 2001
SOUND
8 for the sound majority of I can't recall some memorable background music (majority I've watched the English Dub and some Original Japanese Dub). But Dolores' song is good.
CHARACTER
10 Now the characters are memorable for their roles. hard to forget. They all have their uniqueness. Comedy is exceptionally good and clean.
ENJOYMENT
10 I love their lines. You'll find that the source of the enjoyment of this anime is not really based on its animation but how the characters (Protagonists and Antagonists )are excellently portrayed here.
ENCODE
10 The best that can be salvaged from Year 2001.
I
Inspirational Story
Once I have watched this in the Philippines in my adolescent years. It was dubbed in Filipino language. It gave me back a deep insight on how people in Europe lived a hundred years earlier (or much earlier).... Anyone knows from what earlier novel it was derived from?
Animation is 10 >> in compensation for the animation tech way back in the 1990s.
Enjoyment 9 >>Ending was partial tragedy yet a great fulfillment for Romeo's friend Alfred.
Encode 10 >> For the Encoder. Thank you for providing us with this hard-to-find classic Anime.
Character 10 >> Definitely they portrayed real-life innocence (Am sounding life a D.Gray-Man fan..? hmm....)
Story 10 >> The potential of oneself and the potential of having friends.... And the rest I leave it into your personal home viewing of this anime. Enjoy everyone.
