the story revolves around the lagoon company,a delivery company composed by Revy the mercenary aka 2hands,dutch the strong and calm boss,and bany the smart technology member.


the show starting it's plot by showing the lagoon company making a job and getting a problem along the way,the problem is the calm and naive Japanese business men nick named rock.


rock joins the group after the group took him as a hostage after the last job they took.


rock fight to stay as part of the team after the job he had was lost do to a greedy boss.


this anime is really one of a kind,from the smooth and awesome gun fights,to the great music,and right down to the gritty and gory world of underworld Maffia(s).


the animation is top notch,the music jam perfectly with the on goings on the screen.


if you love military,Maffia,sexy babes,actions,jokes,or all of the above you will surely love black lagoon.

the story of Afro samurai revolve around the black samurai who is known only is Afro samurai,Afro set out to avenge the death of his father by a mysterious figure know as number 2,Afro father was number one and after the defeat number two took the title of number one.

Afro set out to reclaim his father honor and title.


along the way he meet up with strange characters,fight very intense fights,looking back at his sad childhood and pounder about the world he live in.


the show might seem to short 5 episodes to some people,but in fact the creators mange to pack a good story with a good sense of progress in a short amount of episodes.


the music of Afro samurai has a lot of of hip hop and rap influence in it,and the Wu tan clan raza made the sound track.


the animation is top notch,starting with the cool smoke trails,big clouds of sparks,very impressive fights who flows very smoothly.


the anime has crisp lines,and it has a few gory moments in it.


if you love good action and summaries this is definitely an anime to recommend watching.

birdy is a anime that will throw you off your senses in a good way.

the show is about a sexy alien female fighter who comes to earth to retrieve a certain item which hold terrible powers within it.

along with great action scenes,the show has good music and humor.

the thing that will throw you off your senses is the way the plot changes in a different way then you think he will be evolved.

the anime start as a funny and hip slice of life type of anime,but around chapter seven or eight the plot and overall mood change dramatically,you start to watch an anime with a dark theme.

and this is one of the reasons why birdy is a good anime to watch,you start off with a hip show and end up in the middle of it turning into something deep and dark.

the animation is very good,sharp lines and lots of lovely effects throughout the show.

the only thing bad about the animation is the way the noses are drawn,but i think the designers might have done that on purpose to make a few laughs around.

overall a good anime that takes you trough youth,love,comedy,action,and the dark sides of humans.

when i first looked at the cover of this movie in a movie store i didn't bother to take a good look,but something inside told me i should take a closer look at this movie,so i bought that movie (it was on a good sale) after reading the box and seeing who made the animation work,i pop this little gem into my DVD player and then i saw one of the most touching anime i seen in the last 2 years.

if you love a good story about how sometimes miracles can happen,then this is a movie that is very much deserved to be seen by you.

the hip and calm music really mix well toghter.

the animation is top notch.

and the jokes are great.
