Wagnaria's comeback!
When there is a second season I believe they should be better than the first or at least just as good as the first. Working'!! has gotten better and I have really enjoyed this more than the first season.

The anime is set in a a family restaurant called Wagnaria in Hokkaido and follows the abnormal and amusing life of the workers. There isn't much of a story to actually follow. If you've watched Working!! then you'll know that its more of a creative, funny and enjoyable short story for each episode to come. Every episode of Working'!! is still like that. Keeping it smart, funny and creative. They were stories that were done so well including its clever and refreshing comedy that made me laugh harder than before. I really do have to admit that the comedy has gotten MUCH better in this season compared to season 1.

The animation was a masterpiece! Smooth and fluid animation. The art was also great! Great character designs and the buildings have a lot of details, especially Wagnaria's interior as the setting is mostly there. But I have to say that it's really refreshing to see some of the characters out of the restaurant and visit places like the mall where its really colourful and full of life.

The OP theme song and the ED are catchy and fun to watch. The soundtracks were really great. It seriously does a lot when played in certain moments. Especially in comedy scenes. It's like there's an awkward silence between two characters, a tune plays and just makes you smile or laugh. I don't see anything bad about the sound so all good for me.

A very fun and memorable cast of characters who's appearances are rather mistaken for what their personality may be like. Nearly everyone in this anime is an example of 'Don't judge a book by it's cover', LITERALLY nearly everyone! You've got Takanashi who appears to be an ordinary 16 yr old boy but really he's a lolicon and then there's Taneshima who appears to be short and looks like a primary school student when really she's a 17 yr old high school student. The season just gets even better with the new addition of more odd and hilarious characters.
Is it just me or has Hamada become the Queen of comedy? Her blunt comments, her stupidness and her unexpected course of actions are so hard to resist! I just Laugh Out Loud! xD

I've enjoyed each and every episode. The comedy was clevery played out in each episode. The conversation between the characters and their interactions are fun to watch. It's a happy and funny anime set in a warm and welcoming family restaurant with a reasonable number of characters to comfortably focus on. I really do recommend this to everyone. If you want something to laugh at then Working'!! will do it.
I don't feel right saying this since I really like Working'!! but if you didn't enjoy the first season and that put you off from watching the second season, please try out the second season. You'll definitely see a huge improvement!

Flawless encodes. Or should I give it 12/10 since the blurays are coming out? xD Huge thanks to the encoders!
Adventurous and Nostalgic
The image pulled me in and the fact that it was produced by CoMix Wave, the one that produced 5cm Per Second, made me want to watch it definitely.

____|| STORY ||____ ~7/10 Good~
The story is about a girl named Asuna who has a very normal country side life. She spends her spare time in the mountains where she would listen to her long deceased father's crystal radio. A very mysterious and somewhat nostalgic music is played and that seriously hit me. I was hit with nostalgia and I felt like I wanted to be there xD Haha.
One day Asuna encounters a monster on a bridge and a mysterious boy saves her. Something happened to the mysterious boy which forced responsibility and possibly guilt onto Asuna and she sets out on an adventure in a world hidden from everyone else to bring the mysterious boy back. I tried rewording the summary so that I wont spoil anything.
I cannot say that the storyline was poorly structured. It may have been because it was too commonly used or it just didn't try to go for a different direction in the storyline. It was a good story and I don't hate it. Just that there could've been more to the story. Even though the film is almost 2 hours long most of the time the film showed off it's adventurous side which was one of the films spotlight.
The adventure was amazing! Seeing a serene landscape and brightly coloured fields feels very distant from us porbably coz the fact that we don't see a very lushious environment much in our everyday life. The additions of ancient guardians was really nice. It feels like I'm watching Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away and Castle in the Sky put together.

The animation was very fluid and the action was nicely done. Art was the major spotlight for this film. The scenes and landscapes and pretty much all the background you see in the film are SO bright and colourful, lively and serene. So much detail and effort has been put into Animation and Art and proves to be one of CoMix Wave's best film created along side with 5cm Per Second
and The Place Promised in Our Early Days... In terms of animation and art.
My last comment on the art is that the environment is rather realistic because of the effort put into painting. :D

_____|| SOUND ||_____ ~7/10 Good~
The sound, well, all anime and movies have soundtracks for sad moments, happy moments, adventure and so on. Hosho wo Ou Kodomo did a fine job including them but what I was a little disappointed in was that it wasn't the kind of music I was expecting as I got to see how the other world looked like or it could be that not much music was played or there may have been scenes that needed a certain piece of music played. In some cases, I was expecting a tune that felt ancient and nostalgic for exploring ruins and meeting ancient creatures and a more expressive and bold tune for the adventure. I wanted it to have more impact.
People who have played The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess may know what I'm takling about. For people who actually have played; The soundtrack played in the Temple of Time was very strong and ancient which had a really strong impact on you when it plays the moment you step into the temple. Also when you're riding around on your horse this valiant tune plays and it's really refreshing. These were what I was expecting more in an adventure film.
Overall the music was good. Wasn't bad. The ending theme song was really nice and I like the soundtrack played when Asuna is chased by weird dangerous creatures lol :)

A rather ordinary cast of characters. They were a little boring in my opinion but were fine in general. They are all dinstinctive from one another and nothing more. Pretty normal. The thing that sort of killed it for me was Asuna's reason for entering the other world and maybe even the sudden death of a boy we just met.
I'd like to try and rewrite what my friend said about Asuna when I asked him 'how was the film?'
He said "She forgot why she went to the other world! Yeh, I'm gonna risk my life and do some crazy shit to save a dead boy I fell in love with in a day!"
Quite true in fact. xD

To my surprise I quite enjoyed this film. Well I shouldn't say 'surprise' since I knew I was gonna enjoy it. The story may have been a little disappointing and characters may have been a little boring but the amazing art and animation made up for it.
Especially moments when Asuna ventures through a jaw-dropping environment. The whole awesome adventure thing makes up for the standard storyline.
However! The ending was something that could've been better!

Hmm I could say 10 or I might even say 9. Nah 10 should do. The quality was great! The thing that made me say maybe 9 was that there was a glitch from 1:27:17 to 1:27:22. But that didn't bother me.
Very Sweet and Cute
I'm pretty sure all the female audience would fall for this anime and of course guys can watch this too. It's very sweet and cute and generates a very warm atmosphere. I saw Usagi Drop on the anime chart when it was coming out. I saw a little girl with a man whom I assumed was her father until I read the description. From that I knew that I really wanted to watch this.

Well, you can't think of anything better or anything to change of a story about a 30 year old man, called Daikichi, who decides to take in a girl, called Rin, who lost her guardian and is an illegitament child of Daikichi's father who was Rin's guardian. A little confusing isn't it? You should be able to get your head around it easily anyway.
There is nothing you can do better to the story of Daikichi raising Rin as if she was his own daughter without any experience. This kind of story breaks away from your usual anime genre or theme and that what makes this anime very different to others. The story got me right at the moment when Daikichi and Rin are looking at each other, establishing a connection between them and to us as the audience. It's a very sweet and cute anime to watch. Very pleasing to watch.

___|| ANIMATION & ART||___ ~10/10 Masterpiece~
The animation and art together was a masterpiece!~ :D
Animation was very smooth and kept it's consistency. I was happy that the animation was focused on to be more on the realistic side. I didn't want a robotic, jumpy, laggy sort of animation and I'm happy that the animation was spot on!
The drawings are quite simple. I guess simple things can always be something larger. The character designs are adorable and the envorinment is detailed. What I really do love about the art is the water colour-like painting applied to this anime. It's very soft and pleasing on the eye and definitely reminds me of the awesome water colours in Hourou Musuko.

_____|| SOUND ||_____ ~10/10 Masterpiece~
The opening and ending are cute. Fits in with the theme of the anime and they've also and obviously decided to make cute, light melody soundtracks. I even ended up using one of Uagi Drop's soundtrack for my sweet romance animation. That's how awesome the soundtrack is!~ xD

___|| CHARACTER ||___ ~10/10 Masterpiece~
All the characters are adorable. Their designs are simple and unique from one another and what I LOVE about this anime is that the characters are rather realistic. No exaggeration on "tsundere-ness" or any other overused elements of typical anime.
Each character in Usagi Drop have a definite personality. Rin's my favourite. I love her energetic and sweet attitude. Very cute. Daikichi's personality is very easy going and I really like that about him.
Comedy-wise is really good. It isn't an "IN YOUR FACE" sort of moment where comedy scenes can be exaggerated but instead it sort of goes with the flow. It comes along naturally as the story continues so you'll pretty much smile throughout the episode.

I enjoyed this so much! Character interactions were SO FUN to watch and the kids were hilarious. Every aspect of Usagi Drop was spot on and somewhat makes you feel warm and fuzzy. lol! that was a weird description xD But you would love Rin SO MUCH YOU WANNA SQUEEZE HER WITH YOUR BEAR HUG!!!!

The encode was great. There wasn't the slightest need for me to download the original.
What would you do if you got rejected?
This short film is basically about a girl name Fumiko confessing to the boy she likes but of course things don't always go the way you want them to.
The story is something that no one is suppose to give a lot of thought. After all a story like this squeezed into a 2 minute film is very reasonable, hence the score I gave it.
The animation was amazing. Very smooth and fluid and I love how she loses control through the town as we speed through the town following Fumiko, engrossed in the animation quality.
This is the kind of animation consistency I want to see in other anime!
A great choice of musical piece for the duration where everything is happening really fast. A fast paced and whimsical piece was a great choice!
Characters are pretty much expected. But seeing a girl fluster and glow tomato red never gets old!
A very enjoyable film! 2 minutes of my life well spent!
It wont hurt. watch it! It's only 2 minutes. A cute girl cries after being rejected and runs crying out loud as if she's throwing a wild tantrum and her wild adventures begin when she smashes into an old lady's trolley... :D
A bloody start but a senseless end
'Deadman Wonderland' sounds awesome right? This is the kind of anime that would definitely draw the attention of people, primarily males, because of the title and the picture.
I can't blame myself for watching something that had an ending that was no where near the level of the introduction.
:D Deadman Wonderland is pretty much a bloodier version of your typical Shounen anime with a story that slipped away.

____|| STORY ||____ ~6/10 Fine~
The story is about an ordinary boy, Igarashi Ganta, who has lived a normal life up until an unfortunate day where a man in red appears outside his classroom window where all the rest of his classmates are shocked from the sudden appearance of the mysterious man in red floating in mid-air. The classroom students are all butchered and only Ganta survived. From that point on, his life will never be the same before as he is falsely accused for the crime and sentenced to death; to Japan's privately owned prison, 'Deadman Wonderland'- where prisoners live a fun bloody game.
A brilliant and jaw dropping execution of the anime where you are already immersed in its horror genre. Ganta promises himself to kill the Red Man who killed his classmates and prove his innocence. Then half way into following Ganta's life in prison, the story side tracked and the series ended in a half decent resolve for 'that' particular side story. In the end, the anime seemed like it was left unfinished, without any solid closure and Ganta's own wish left unfulfilled leaving the death of all his classmates in vain. On the other hand, I do get a feeling that a second season may make its way out soon to continue the story of Deadman Wonderland. Otherwise, this series alone was pretty dissapointing.

Oh animation animation animation~ How I LOVE to talk about the animation~ The animation was pretty good. In movements, I'm always looking out for smoothness and fluidity (natural/realistic). Deadman Wonderland has offered smooth animations and a certain level of fluidity in it's movement that has me satisfied. One of the things that stands out in this area is the animation of special effects and powers. Pretty awesome dynamics were used. I personally think the
special effects compliments the motion animation so less frames are required resulting in a less natural-like motion for the characters movement. To sum it all up, the animation was pretty good and the dynamics and animation for the superpowers were great.

_____|| SOUND ||_____ ~8/10 Very Good~
I liked the opening. Goes along very well with the opening theme animation which gives off a bit of a psychological feel to it. I hated the ending. Blue and a bit melodramatic. The song choice killed the mood I was in after finishing an episode and the ending theme animation was boring: just pictures.This kind of ending may have fitted in better with a romance or drama anime.
The sound tracks were pretty decent. There are certain soundtracks that seemed to excite me and one of them was the fast paced drum sound track which is played right when Ganta screams as he has a full sight of his friends in pieces. It keeps the adrenaline running for a short while until the scenes over.
The other sound track I also liked was when Ganta "begins to fight back" where this sort of "burst of courage"-like music is played and it has the same affect as the earlier OST. It's like something heavy has been lifted off your shoulder and you're able to scream out loud to your hearts content.
The drawback is that there wasn't really a wide scope for OSTs. But they do have an impact on us which is good.

___|| CHARACTER ||___ ~7/10 Good~
Characters with special powers. Rather typical and not very unique. But then there are other anime that has the typical type that seem much more interesting than what I see in Deadman Wonderland. That is also because of the character's interactions with other characters and the environment.
In Deadman Wonderland, we follow Ganta living his normal life for only a little while. When an edited video of Ganta killing his classmates was revealed in the court, it gave more the reason for the mourning parents of the dead students to hate Ganta as he is sentence to death. A connection is established between the protagonist and the viewer and we feel sorry for him and hate the others who falsely accuse him of mass murder. This was the kind of thing I liked about the character Ganta. Even though he was the typical shounen-like character, he was still able to establish a connection with the viewer because he was only living a normal life a minute ago when all of a sudden "this" happens. Our emotions are caught up in his actions and so it makes him a common yet interesting character to watch.
The down side is that we lose that connection between us and him as the story heads for a different direction.
Ganta is accompanied by a mysterious white girl called Shiro who's always happy and cheerful and doesn't seem to understand the dangers and risks she's taking or facing. Shiro is probably the most interesting a character in this series can get. The rest of the characters belong to Deadman Wonderland 'world'. Their appearances pretty much define who they are and their lifestyle are similar considering they all lived in prison for quite some time.

___|| ENJOYMENT ||___ ~7/10 Very Good~
I enjoyed Deadman Wonderland even though it had a poorly structured storyline and some unoriginal characters. The battles and OSTs probably kept me watching. I didn't really think this anime was much of a horror. If you think limbs flying everywhere is considered horror then thats probably as good as the horror can get.
I think one other reason why I seem fixated on this series is because of the mysterious white girl, Shiro. I may have kept watching partly for the sake of seeing Shiro 'til the end and to clear the mysteries surrounding this character.
I can easily say this now that choosing this anime and wanting a good storyline is a bad choice. To briefly describe Deadman Wonderland; It feels more of a bloodier version of a shounen anime with a story that had no resolve.

I was stuck between a 9 and 10. The reason behind this is because th3k31's encodes were hard to see in the dark. th3k31's encode quality is great but it's just that when it is a dark scene I'm only able to see the eyes of the character and if lucky, parts of their body.
Whereas kmonmoy's encodes were visible in the dark scenes. But all in all, the encode quality of both encoders were great but I recommend kmonmoy's encode if you want to be able to see more of what is happening in the dark scenes.
I wish I was a part of the "Super Peace Busters"!
I knew about this anime when it first came out but never really watched. Then three of my friends completed Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai and one came up to me - "You better f*&%King watch this! Or I'll murder you!" and, without a choice, I watched it from beginning to end and it was really a satisfying anime. Awesome drama. I could fill up my cup with my own tears (\/)

A group of childhood friends drifts apart after one of them, Meiko "Menma" Honma, dies in an accident. Years later, the leader of the group, Jinta Yadomi, has become withdrawn and lives as a recluse. An older Meiko appears to him, and says that she must have a wish granted, though she does not know what it is.
[MyAnimeList]
A very fresh and original story! The group of childhood friends who formed 'The Super Peace Busters' group that drifted apart after one of them died in an accident are all grown up to the point where they are going to Senior High School and also to the point where they do not talk to each other very much at all. That saddens me.
Jinta, the founder of the Super Peace Busters when he was young, is the only person who can see a grown up Menma, the childhood friend who died in the accident. She wants Jinta to grant her a wish she doesn't remember and in order to do so Jinta must revive their old Super Peace Busters group by bringing everyone together and fulfilling Menma's forgotten wish.
Throughout the series there is a lot of emotional things happening. Hardship, severed friendship, jealousy, isolation - they are all conveyed well in the series and I'm sure there are more that I missed.
The story was well played out and well paced; wasn't too fast nor was it too slow. It's drama and comedy is very consistence and balanced. Rather its aids one another creating a particular situation worth experiencing. You'll be on the edge of your chair with your eyes in it's own little pond. After finishing one episode I just HAD to watch the next.

Loved the animation and art! Animation was very fluid. The series seems to have a lot of movement which made the anime more lively and realistic/natural. The art was "Simazing!!!" LOL!
Simple yet detailed and amazing. The picture the encoder has provided is pretty much what the art is like in the anime. Great composition. Neat lines and a variety of colours used to create this peaceful and realistic setting.

_____|| SOUND ||_____
Sound were just as good as the animation. Especially the OP and ED. Totally gonna be on my iPod! LOL! But really have to admit that both the OP and ED animation along with its songs create a sense of longing and a little nostalgic. This might be because of the clever idea to put both the young and present form of the characters side by side. It really does create this sad yet happy feeling and at the same time makes the anime seem innocent!

___|| CHARACTER ||___
The characters were the best out the whole series I believe. Personalities can be both portraying those of reality and those that are created after losing a childhood friend. Very memorable characters. Their peronalities and characteristion were done very well. Loved them to bits.
some of the great things I liked about the characters is their slow recovery of their severed bonds as childhood friends and their interactions with each other after years. I also loved the fact that the characters have a decent physical change from when they were young. I mean take naruto for an example. He still looks the same in Shippuuden whereas Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai has done otherwise making the characters unique and having their own individuality - living their own life their own way.

I SSOOOOO enjoyed this! The drama, the comedy and character interactions. What I also enjoyed was that...there's...REFERENCE/PARODIES TO OTHER ANIMES IN THIS ANIME!!!
Nokemon --> Pokemon LOL!
There is also a game store that one of the character work in and in the game store we see quite a few reference to other anime. One i can remember was a poster of "Working!!" and "Code Geass" and two guys talking about One Piece.
Now that's what you call slice of life LOL! It's as if they are in our world watching other anime and playing games like we do xD
I really do recommend this anime to everyone. I'm trying to think of any kind of audience who would reject this anime but I can't coz I believe everyone is going to enjoy this.
And now to carry on my friend's words..."You better f*&%King watch this! Or I'll murder you!"

Moe misleads to a Dark Masterpiece
When I watched this anime's PV when it came out I thought it would be one of those funny moe relaxing kind of anime where these magical girls would hunt down cute looking evil demons and enjoy their life doing ordinary things. After completing this anime, I now understand why it has caused a big commotion and why the director of Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica apologized to the audience for it's misleading impression. Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica is a great example of that saying, "Don't judge a book by it's cover".

____|| STORY ||____
Beloved family, good friends, laughter and tears - these things make up the ordinary life of Kaname Madoka, a second year student of Mitakihara City Middle School. One night, Madoka dreams of a mysterious dark haired girl struggling against a terrible evil; the next morning she discovers that the girl, Akemi Homura, has transferred into her class. This encounter will lead to an incident which will alter Madoka's fate forever.
[MyAnimeList]
First of all, I reccommended this series to two of my friends and they have their own opinions about Madoka Magica. From my perspective, I saw Madoka Magica as a dark masterpiece. The series start off lightly introducing characters and confidently showing off it's great art and animation. Madoka is introduced as an ordinary high school girl who encounters a girl from her dream. Things get a little uneasy for her as she is not sure what is happening. I'm watching it and feeling pretty confidence of the story's progression so far. Then, Madoka finds an white injured, fox-like creature with crimson eyes in an out-of-bounds area. It is here that strucked me. Her encounter with this odd and cute creature was the beginning of everything.
Aspects of the story are gradually being explained and understanding the nature of the story was gradually becoming clear with the coming episodes. Episode 3 was a super-shock. It is the twist in the plot. It is the sudden attack that tears your heart. I won't say what happened but it was something that came so unexpectly with no warning at all that made me realise that this is no ordinary anime. This isn't your typical shoujo anime and I'm pretty sure there a lots of people who agree. The nature of this anime is dark masked by tranquility. Throughout the series, Madoka and her friends fight witches and soon among themselves. They learn about the things they do not know about being a Puella Magi and make decisions that can ulitmately change their life and the world. Not once did the episodes stray off this engaging plot and they just seem to get better one after the other as you quickly grasp the concept of it's story. I gave the story a 10. Awesome
and misleading introduction, followed by series of events full of action and finishing with an epic and sort of sad/happy, bittersweet ending wih a very favourable quote displayed at the end.

Impressive animation. Very nice and fluid fight sequence and the animation was just amazing. The special effects were impressive as well as the art.
The art, literally, blew me away. One of my hobbies are animating and I like my animations looking hand-drawn. I don't know why but it just makes it feel different and unique. The art for Madoka Magica was very different and unique. The character designs were, for me, were amazing. The lines are neat and looks drawn like manga. The eyes with pencil shadings was one reason to my addiction to it's art. The main reason for my addiction to this anime's art was the Witches world. When the characters enter the world of a Witch, everything is abstract. It gives of a strange feeling and it made me develope a strong liking towards this kind of art. I was engrossed in it. It's like watching Picasso's artworks come alive. It IS a very valuable eperience and I don't think there is any other anime like Madoka Magica in terms of art.

~screams like a girl as if she saw her favourite celebrity~ Aaaaaaahhhhh!!! Omgawd! The Opening and Ending theme song PLUS the OSTs are definitly gonna be on my ipod! The opening theme song is very good. Really good J-pop. Earlier I mentioned "dark masked by tranquility" which reflects the nature of the anime. The opening theme song and animation is like the peaceful and happy side of Madoka Magica and some drama, as the opening theme animation stunningly portray. The ending theme song was like "OH.EM.GE!". Sent chills down my spine. My heart was racing and I loved it. The ending theme song represents the dark side of the anime. The sound was dark, pump-ish and heavy.
Anyone who have watched Kara no Kyoukai will definitely know what kind of song the ending will play. Yes, The ending theme song and OSTs was produced by Kalafina. The same singer who produced the music for Kara no Kyoukai, which was another dark masterpiece!

___|| CHARACTER ||___
Memorable cast of characters that's another plus side of this anime. See them as 'moe' character if you like but as you watch on, embrace yourself for what you will learn about their past and what they really are.
Their personalities, although some not original, were still in good shape for interesting characterisation. Each character has a dark history except for Madoka, an innocent girl with a loving and caring family, pulled into an unexpected battle and must make a wish that is worth risking her life for. But I've goota say that everyone of the characters are pretty unique because of their histories. Madoka Magica really has a memorable cast of characters. Something
that I noticed for each character was that each one was represented with a single colour. Pink, yellow, red, grey and blue. Each colour can have their own interpretations and it's all up to the audiences interpretation as well.
Pink - Sweet
Yellow - Cheerful
Red - Violent
Grey - Neutral
Blue - Serious-ness

I must say, a really unique anime that stands out quite a bit. A dramatic, dark, twisted plot with very impressive animation, art and music has successfully come together to produce something that can make me stomp on Naruto, One Piece and Bleach together and laugh at it. (No offence to fans. I watch Naruto Shippuuden anywaysz xD)
Both of my friends, however, gave it a 9. One of them reasoned that he didn't really like the abstract kind animation and that even if he put that aside, he would still give it a 9 because he believes the anime doesn't deserve a 10. On the other hand, he said that the abstract animation makes this anime unique and a one of a kind anime and I definitely agree with him on that.
My other friend, who's freakishly into really depressing anime only liked Madoka Magica because a there was a lot of dying in it. Especially the repetitve death seen by the time traveller. The reason why he gave this anime a 9 was because he wanted a character to fail in the last episode that will result in the death of the main character which then comes to the point where the whole cast has died off... 'Tomodachi wa omoshiroi hito desune?'
A highly reccommended anime series! If you're looking for a light story with comedy and slice of life, it's best to turn this down unless you suddenly have a change of heart and decide to watch something dark then sure! This is the perfect anime for that!

Yumekui Merry. I wasn't too keen on watching this anime because it's title and art didn't really get my attention and I did not feel the urge to watch it. Maybe it was because I was tired of the word 'dream.' But opposing my first impression of this anime, I gave it a try and to what end did I arrive at? Quite a bit of a disappointment...

Ten years ago Fujiwara noticed he had a power to see multicolored auras surrounding people's bodies. Ever since then he's been having a weird dream about a war with cats. One day he meets a mysterious girl, that, after being picked on by crows and fallen from a tree, goes to search for her lost hat. Later that day, Fujiwara finds himself in a daydream, being attacked by the same cats he fights at night.
[MyAnimeList]
The story could've been better. Fujiwara, soon after meeting Yumekui Merry, decides to team up with her to hunt down dream demons that uses humans as their vessels and find a way for Yumekui Merry to return to the Dream world as she states that she doesn't belong in Fujikawa's world; reality. Along the pair's journey, they meet foes who soon after become friends, mysteries of the mysterious Yumekui Merry are revealed and the relationship of both dream and reality are gradually conveyed to the point to be fully understood.
The execution of the story was pretty good. It was straight to the point and we get a gist of what the anime will be about.
Though, the story wasn't as intriguing as I thought It would be. First of all, the pace of the
story was too quick. Everything felt rushed and it didn't allow enough time for certain parts of the plot to be given greater depth to fully understand. What happens to the humans that dream demon choose as their vessels? If the dream demon within a human vessel is killed, will the human die along with it? No, only their dreams are killed. Is it true? I'm not so sure. I do not remember hearing such an answer to this crucial part of the story. It was like the question was left unanswered. But what made me falter over this negative talk is the way the series ended. The anime was left unfinished. It does suggest a second season because the Lord of all Dream Demons or whatever his name is has not been defeated yet and it is possible that the second season holds the remaining pieces to this unfinished puzzle to fully get the picture we are
looking for.

___|| ANIMATION ||___ ~~ 7/10 ~~ (good)
The animation was also a bit a of disappointment. Don't get me wrong. There were actually fight scenes that definitely deserved a 10/10 but then there were others that just didn't live up to the great action sequence I saw in the first episode. The animation, in short, was very inconsistent. From great animation to what looks like punching and kicking plastic mannequins. Only the first two big battles deserved a 10/10. The first is a fight between Yumekui Merry and John Doe (awesome looking humanoid cat with a saw) which takes place in episode one. The other is a battle between Yumekui Merry and Engi (A white female angel knight) which takes place in a later episode. These two battle had very fluid action sequence and very smooth. Had
great dynamics on ground and in air and camera angles and trailing were put to great use in these battles.
Those battles were great to watch and fun to follow. Unfortunately, as the episodes keep on coming, the animation quality was degrading. The last battle of this series, a battle between Yumekui Merry and Mistletine (one of the strongest demons), was suppose to be epic but it ended as a disappointment.
Camera techniques and aerial dynamics were overused and it just made the fight sequence a mess and very hard to follow. You see hands and a second later you see a face charging right at the screen. Very hard to follow. There was also this part when Yumeji Fujikawa was sent flying and then all of a sudden, fell unnaturally; defying physics. It's like cardboard falling flat onto the ground and you're just watching it.
Overall the animation was decent and bearable.
The art was pretty good. Comination of the chosen colours has made the anime eccentric, eerie and surprisingly dream-like. Not the white fluffy heaven feeling but more of the twilight abstract kind.

Hmm hmmm! Great opening theme song and the ending theme too. Opening theme animation was a plus and the ending theme animation was... Well, it's just a picture of Yumekui Merry covered by red petals that slowly float away and the credits move down the screen. OSTs were fine but then there were some situations especially a build up to a fight where there's nothing playing at all. "Where did the music go?! Oh, now it starts..."
_____________________
___|| CHARACTER ||___ ~~ 6/10 ~~
Characters, I've gotta admit, were a little plain. Their personalities may look explosive but their
'unique-ness' from each other weren't so great. The characters did not stand out much as a whole and as individuals and character development could only be a big as 'a change of heart'. Some of the dialogue given to characters turned out to be 'cheezy' and 'lame'. Lame? well, I've heard the same kind of things characters say when there is a sudden burst of courage. It was embarrassing to listen to and you'll be like "I get it! I get it! Just fight or change the subject already..." You could even say their "crucial" dialogues are centralised around 'hope'. Yep! That is a bit too cliched.
Though, the comical relief among the characters were on the plus side. But sometimes there are comical situations where I just sit there with a blank face and go "huh?!..."

The enjoyment factor. Well, the anime wasn't great nor was it bad. It was in between; good. I did feel that I wasted my time on this but then I enjoyed it a bit as well.
These kind of anime are easy to recommend xD
If you're looking for an anime to endulge yourself in, then, it would be wise to stay away from this anime and go for something better like Baccano or whatever other great titles there are out there.
Overall this anime is just a decent watch to keep yourself busy and kill spare time when you're bored.

The quality was satisfying for such a small size. There's nothing wrong or bad about the quality of the anime. But I gave it a 9 only just one or two of the opening and ending theme animation had poor quality. The quality was fine throughout the story. It's only just one or two opening and ending theme animation.
Old items hold old memories
I read about the "Young Animator Training Project" in which The Agency of Cultural Affairs of Japan invested 214 million yen ($2.26 million) into a while back. I thought i would give Ojii-san no Lamp a tryas it was produced by fresh animators in training along with various other titles. I was eager to see what these amateur animators got to offer to us.
___________________
____|| STORY ||____
It was a beautifully well played out story. The story begins with a boy who discovers an odd looking lamp while playing hide-and-seek. The boy asks his Grandfather, Minosuke, what it was which lead to his Grandfather retelling the story of the past; His youth and the introduction of lamps. It follows the life of Minosuke when he was a child back in the days when Lamps were a technological trend in the rural areas of Japan. He sets up a Lamp store, selling Lamps on his travels and as he becomes a young man he marries a beautiful girl. Ojii-san's life have always been with lamps since the day he was a child but what suddenly shatters him is the advancing technology coming into Japan. With a stubborn attitude, he begins to make his move...
_____________________
___|| ANIMATION ||___
I am jumping for joy when I see the animation. These animators in training did not let the investment of 214 million yen go to waste as they offered great animations, keeping it's consistency throughout the episode. Neat thin lines were used for characters making them appealing and elegant and it goes well with the anime. The art looked simple yet it looks like its has been given depth. The background were beauitfully drawn, drawing the viewers into that particular era of Japan's past.
_____________________
___|| CHARACTER ||___
The characters were great. They looked great and their personalities are something you'd want to see. It felt that the characters were complete and weren't lacking anything. Their chosen personalities made the characters feel 'human' and realistic. Minosuke is an ordinary farm boy who grew up with Lamps and made a career out of selling them and the audience are able to see the changes happening to him as Japan becomes more westernised with advancing technologies and the effects of his actions on his own family.
_____________________
___|| ENJOYMENT ||___
I enjoyed Ojii-san no Lamp a lot. The story was sweet and I seemed to come under the sway of its story. It was a powerful story yet it was a light one. Maybe its because it is a reflection of Japan's past depicted as an anime that's kept close to reality instead of fantasy. Something the viewer can watch light heartedly and something that doesn't need to be given much thought. It almost feels like a real thing and something you may want to experience. Maybe its almost like Clannad (not the intensity of drama though coz clannad would be the dominating one) where it's like a family or the characters are like family. One person is negatively affected and it affects another. Minosuke's feelings towards the old world and the new world is something people
should see.
Wandering Son
I have never seen an anime so innocent and pure. Hourou Musuko was an amazing and uplifting experience. It's that kind of anime that feels new and original; shiny and untouched and you wouldn't dare step on it or even touch it with your 99.9% germs-free hand.

____|| STORY ||____
The story depicts a young boy named Shuuichi Nitori who wants to be a girl, and his friend Yoshino Takatsuki, a girl who wants to be a boy. The series deals with issues such as transsexuality, gender identity, and the beginning of puberty.
[MyAnimeList]
The synopsis has done a great job at summarising the whole series. xD Every episode of Hourou Musuko was focused on gender identity and whatever else was mentioned in the synopsis and the suffering individuals and their surroundings, whether it be friends or families. The story was gentle. It portrayed the indivivuals life and didn't fall too heavily into it's topic. This anime has turned an issue that exists in today's society into something very interesting and engaging. I found the story very captivating. Really, I did. When I finished one episode I couldn't wait for
the next and waiting out a week for it to come out was torture to my mind and heart.

___|| ANIMATION ||___
The moment I saw something move in Hourou Musuko's trailer when it first came out, straight away bang! Flawless animation! The animation was so smooth and natural and the soft water colours just made the art look so divine. The environment were beautifully drawn and the character designs were unique. It's the first time I've seen character's eyes look that way on a less angular face and I really like it. I really liked how they applied soft light to the water colours. It just looks so pure and it's something you don't see in any other anime.

_____|| SOUND ||_____
The music was really something! xD I really liked the Opening theme. Has a nice and somewhat emotional touch to it with all the scenery of the school's interior in addition with a great song! The Ending theme was also great. It makes me wonder "Japanese are really taking English lesson pretty serious aren't they?". I thought so because the singer for the Ending theme was pretty fluent in English. It was a great song and a great way to end the episode! The OSTs are great as well and probably what makes Hourou Musuko feel so innocent and pure.
_____________________
___|| CHARACTER ||___
The characters are to die for! I loved how they look and act. Hourou Musuko has quite a large cast of characters and yet each and every one of them is unique and different from one another. Although you may think some supporting characters aren't given 'too' much characterazation but they've stood out in Hourou Musuko almost as an inportant individual. But of course, every anime has main characters that are given greater focus.
Nitori (male protagonist) is a boy who wants to be a girl. He has a feminine personality and crossdresses as a hobby.
Takatsuki (female protagonist) is a girl who wants to be a boy. She has a more masculine personality.
Chiba (female protagonist) is a girl who likes Nitori as a boy but dislikes as a girl. She, you could say, is a bit of a spiritual guidance for both Nitori and Takatsuki and maybe even herself.
All three of them have a bit of a history which is the spark for drama!
Character developement was well done and fantastically portrayed through change in perspective, stages of puberty, etc.

I enjoyed this so much that I gave it a 10. Not everyone will agree with me and I understand.
Hourou Musoko had a captivating story and lovely music. It had fluid animation and beauitiful art. It had great character designs and characterisation and developement.
This is an anime that i enjoyed thoroughly and would love to keep in my memories for as long as i live. This kind of anime are pretty rare and people should appreciate the opportunity and eperience of this wonderful anime.

10/10 for encode. It's great for an unbelievably small size but I still stuck with horriblesubs 480p because I felt that Hourou, such an amazing anime, deserved to be watched in better quality. But if your having trouble with download speed then go with jak321's encodes. I've also watched them and there is only a small difference in quality compared to 480p considering the size. And that is really impressive.
Following a childs life seems much more valuable when you're older. Now go and watch this masterpiece!
Cute Kyoto Animation Style!
I am of course quite a bit of a Kyoto Animation fan as they have made animes that made it to my top 10. Now it seems they are gonna do it again with another new series that definitely shows off its 'KyotoAni' elements and style!

While the title suggests a story of simple, everyday school life, the contents are more the opposite. [MyAnimeList]
I assume that people will think what i think of the story when i say Lucky Star. Yes, although this is just an OVA it gives off a similar feeling. This OVA of the Nichijou TV series has a plot much like Lucky Star OVA. It's a compilation of different stories that's sweet, cute and funny all at the one time. It's heart-warming and funny short stories are entangled with fantastic and whimsical elements that brings out the refreshing Kyoto Animation feeling in this OVA.

Hmm... How would i describe it? It's like your typical charming slice of life piece of music with a touch of KyotoAni style. Hearing it will most likely feel nostalgic after watching a KyotoAni production a while back. The series feels like a break out into imagination mixed with slice of life because of the sound's 'purities' and 'light tunes/melodies'.

The characters are so adorable! Even the talking cat! This OVA alone was more than enough to totallyreveal the characters personality. Of course as i was watching this, all the characters were in an outburst of energy and happiness that it feels like we know them so well and personally. Their weaknesses are cute and their strong points are hilarious! The characters imagination also seem to break out into the series reality making this episode a definite KyotoAni experience.

____|| STORY ||____
The final version is set in 2142 A.D., a century after humanity’s carelessness resulted in the collapse of Earth’s biosphere. The only survivors are a technological society in a magnificent enclosed scientifically-designed refuge city, Ecoban, and a small horde of refugees in the Wasteland just outside.
The leaders of Ecoban have supported the refugees in return for their providing labor to mine the raw materials needed to keep Ecoban operational.
After a century, Ecoban’s leaders have degenerated into an indolent elite class who have reduced the “Diggers”to slavery, providing no more than the barest minimum to keep them alive. Meanwhile, the machinery sustaining Ecoban continues to pollute the world outside. The Diggers have finally grown angry enough to strike for better conditions. At the same time Ecoban’s machinery is breaking down and repairing it requires endangering the "Diggers" lives with still more pollution.
[MyAnimeList]
Wow these guys did such a great job at pulling off a failure. It had a pretty decent execution when all of a sudden the plot dropped dead...
How did it go again? Well I remember some guy that talked like a faggot saying something. Then some other guy wearing a mask running for his life. The story drags on at a super slow pace and you only get to understand what the guy is up to somewhere in the middle of the movie.
I'd like to break off to FF7 Advent Children for a bit. Remember the scene where cloud is riding his motorcycle and the camera is capturing and trailing him and the environment to give us an idea of what the world is like? Well Wonderful Days did that as well to show how the world is like where pollution has engulfed the blue skies. Except in Wonderful Days it felt like it went on forever and you're just sitting there watching a black screen. Yes, Black, well dark because the world is polluted.
Then comes the events to follow and yet it felt nothing has happened. The protagonist (the guy wearing the mask running for his life) thought or had 'flashbacks' about his past. It was something that added a golden piece to this unworthy plot. Some of the time the conversation has some relevance to the plot and thus the story moves along... to a common cliched ending...A group of goodies unite for their final battle against the baddies. Its that kind of ending where characters die off one by one while the important ones make it through to the end where they face the 'ultimate' enemy. Wasn't ultimate at all and it wasn't a good ending as well... Why is everyone floating in the air shooting at each other and dying in the air in slow motion? It's so stupid! It's like you're watching stiff bleeding sausages with arms and legs floating about in the air trying to kill each other. Whats even more stupid was that they were all shot in the same part on their bodies and they don't seem to die from massive loss of blood as it flows out of their bullet wounds. Then of course there's the final scene where everything becomes colourful. The slaves are free and the pollution disappears revealing a beatiful scenery. A great break from 80 minutes of nothing but darkness.
In addition to the already shit plot was the language. It wasn't even Japanese to begin with! I don't watch Korean drama so my ears are virgins to the Korean language and I've got to admit, it doesn't sound good. I'd rather listen to Japanese try to swear and curse people in English than listen to what sounds like drunk pigeons choking on a stick singing and shouting. I don't know about other peoples opinions on Korean language but I didn't really like it. I do, however, remember listening to one or two Korean songs ages ago and i believe it was good.

___|| ANIMATION ||___
The ONLY good point in this movie is the animation. They have cleverly used 2D and 3D animations together,similar to the first Appleseed movie. 2D animations showed effort in fight sequence and pretty much any sort of big movements and the CGI animations were great. Computer generated vehicles had nice designs and had a nice neon glow to it.
_____________________
_____|| SOUND ||_____
Well... I don't remember hearing much music. I know that there's a lot of drunk pigeon conversations and sound effects like dropping items, running and gunfires. There was very few sound tracks to listen to and the fact that i don't remember hearing them may be because they were poorly executed at the wrong place at the wrong time.
_____________________
___|| CHARACTER ||___
Nothing much to say about the characters. They are pretty much your typical rebellion consisting of a "normal" Robin-hood-like guy and a group of people who look like hobos holding massive guns living in the slums. The character designs for the hobos were a little odd. Sometimes when they talk one of their eyes buldges out. May have been for comedy purposes but to me it seems like the guy was probably on heroine.
_____________________
___|| ENJOYMENT ||___
Overall, I did not enjoy the movie much at all. Great animation combined with a poor and very generic plot makes the animation meaningless and a waste. The language was bearable.
You could say that this movie is as horrible and as terrible as Kim Jong Il. At least this movie wasn't directed by Kim Jong Il. He'd probably have the whole movie focused on the soldiers legs and exploding grenades for a whole 86 minutes. Really it felt like the movie just kicked me in the balls...

I thought i would give Ghost Hunt a try because i wanted something that would scare me.
Turned out to be something i was looking for but also something i wasn't really expecting.
___________________
____|| STORY ||____
While at school, Tanimaya Mai and her friends like to exchange ghost stories. Apparently, there
is an abandoned school building on their campus that is the center of many ghost stories. During the story, they are frighteningly interrupted by a mysterious male figure. The person turns out to be Shibuya Kazuya, a 17 year old who is president of the Shibuya Psychic Research Company. He was called by the principal to investigate the stories surrounding the abandoned school building.
The next day, on the way to school, Mai passes the school building in question. While examining a strange camera she spotted inside, she gets surprised by Kazuya's assistant. Unknowingly interfering with the investigation, Mai breaks the camera and Kazuya's assistant gets injured.
Kazuya forcefully hires Mai in order to pay for the camera and replace his injured assistant.
From that point on, Mai begins to learn about the paranormal world and the profession of ghost hunting.
[MyAnimeList]
Ghost Hunt did not have a main storyline, instead the series was divided into arcs or "files"
according to the anime that are 3-4 episodes long :) Each arc had different stories which focused
on different supernatural cases where the main cast and a few supporting characters arrive to the scene and solve the case. It did have a sort of detective feeling to the anime since it was mainly working behind the scenes to solve supernatural cases. It also felt that there was some attempt in embedding puzzles in the series which made it perplexing. You suspect that person but its not him or her and you really want to know who it is.That's how i felt watching Ghost Hunt but it didn't apply to every arc. Some arcs were "colourful" in a sense that it was taking a break from the 'darkness'.
The anime was pretty dark and spooky especially in the midst of fishing out the culprit and it has
got me spooked out but then again it sometimes break into a illuminated scene but that doesn't mean it's bad. Usually this period is where all the "piecing the puzzle" takes place and your mind is glued to it as the answer gradually becomes clear.
Each arc had a fine story to tell and interesting cases to solve.
_____________________
___|| ANIMATION ||___
The animation wasn't really what i was expecting it to be. Animation style was very similar to that of 'Bakuman'. The movements weren't natural and fluid.You can't really blame them as it was a low budget production. However it did have decent special effects for ghosts. The art was an 'okay'for me and so was the art style for the environment and buildings. Just simple lines with some effects and decentcolouring. Nothing flashy or anything that's jaw-dropping.
_____________________
_____|| SOUND ||_____
For some reason it feels like sound tracks were only played during spooky scenes to create suspence.
The sound effects played during comedy scenes were pretty lame and cliched in my opinion. But it didn't make it any less funnier. In fact you might think that the 'lame-ness' of the the sound
effects makes it funnier? Though not all the same with other people. Some people may find it funny.
My thoughts on the comedy had their ups and downs.
_____________________
___|| CHARACTER ||___
The characters did not feel as poweful as the plot. Rather it felt like it was just watching an
interesting anime with characters that had potential but it just didn't show.
Each character have different practices of ridding the evil spirits which was what made each
character different to each other. Their practices are of traditional Japanese prayers and the like
and even technology has been used (by the male protagonist).
We then come to Mai who is the female protagonist. At first a school girl but then takes up the job in hunting down ghosts (well more like assistant). Her ability grows stronger over time and plays quite an important role as the story progresses.But I felt that her perception was a little 'cheezy'.
The cast in general do have potential but I believe the way they have been presented could have been better.
_____________________
___|| ENJOYMENT ||___
In the end it was just an average anime that could've been better. The story was interesting and characterswere fairly well presented. If the animation was better then it might have changed the way I view thisand the comedy was a little too lame for me. The characters would laugh in a situation that's suppose to befunny and my face would be flat on the keyboard...
But I've got to admit that this may be one of the creepiest anime I've watched that actually scared me.
There was two arcs that did the job. One arc was when Mai wakes up in the night and walks into a bathroom.She looks over to the bath tub with a shower curtain hanging (of course to prevent people from peeping) and notices blood dribbling down the side of the tub as if the bath tub was overflowing with blood...I wont saywhat happens next.
The other arc that scared me was when a corpse slipped down the glass door upside down. The squeak noise cause by the friction sent shivers down my spine...

Well I watched the first episode and wasn't sure if i should continue. The encode was a bit dark but can't really use that as an excuse since the anime was relatively dark. But maybe the reason why i decided to download elsewhere was that the sound quality was rather odd. Some parts it was soft and then its loud.
The anime and the universe within revolves around a single girl
A girl who could change the universe without knowing the existence of her powers to do so gets you thinking what might happen if your wishes came true. Subconsciously you want something and you actually get it but you don't know that it was your doing. This anime was the spark to start up a fascinating adventure.

Kyon, your typical high school student, has long given up his belief in the supernatural. However, upon meeting Haruhi Suzumiya, he quickly finds out that it is the supernatural that she is interested in; aliens, time travelers and espers among other things. When Haruhi laments about the lack of intriguing clubs around school, Kyon inspires Haruhi to form her own club. As a result, the SOS Brigade is formed, a club which specializes in all that is the supernatural.
Much to his chagrin, Kyon, along with the silent bookworm, Yuki Nagato, the shy and timid Mikuru Asahina, and the perpetually smiling Itsuki Koizumi, are recruited as members. The story follows the crazy adventures that these four endure under their whimsical leader, Haruhi. The story is based on the light novels by Nagaru Tanigawa.
[MyAnimeList]
This was quite an eccentric and interesting anime. It laid low but the excitement jumped out of the bush with its comedy, animation and bizarre things that defy the world; it's sci-fi elements.
The story begins with Kyon, your ordinary high school student, who, like the synopsis says, has long given up his beliefs in the supernatural. He meets a strange girl, Haruhi Suzumiya, who seems to be interested in the supernatural like aliens, time travelers and espers. He soon after joins a newly formed club called the SOS Brigade (made my Haruhi because inspired by Kyon) and that's where their crazy adventures begin.
The series really does offer an array of fantasy and whimsical elements that would "wow!" you and make you laugh or tuned in but the story was a bit under my expectations. I was expecting a stronger storyline that stood out but it turned out be be light. Although having a light storyline doesn't mean it's a bad anime. The strange adventures they go on and the things they do are very fun to watch.
The story or the anime was still captivating most likely because of the idea of the "ultimate power to change the universe" which was something you don't really see in other anime.
An anime that revolves Haruhi just like how the universe revolves around Haruhi.

___|| ANIMATION ||___
Exquisite animation. Especially where a band played their music (watch them play their instruments! awesome!). Though this is both first and season season put together in chronological order. (Rinkwolf Phantom has rearranged both seasons into one chronological order for us) The older animation was still great as it was smooth. The newer animation is much more improved as it seems much more fluid and natural; realistic. When you watch, you'll start off with old animation, then new animation throughout the middle of the series and then end with a few old animation. You'll know when the new animation starts when you watch.
The animation in addition with the colours, THE COLOURS! seems to make the scene pop out of the screen. It was just that amazing! The environment and colours used just made it feel so refreshing. Smart camera angles techniques were used for the purpose of enhancing comedy,
making it more appealing and, at some point in the anime, makes the scene feel epic.

_____|| SOUND ||_____
NOTE: I watched only the Japanese audio.
Pretty much every sound in this anime is great. The sound track, opening and ending theme songs and even insert songs. I prefer the 2nd opening theme (which is the opening for the newer animation) because it had a girl punk sort of feeling to it. A song were you can jump around in joy in front of your computer screen.

___|| CHARACTER ||___
They may be a little cliched (I don't find them cliched or maybe it's cliched brought to a new level) but I personally think they are the best cast of characters I've seen before! It's like the ideal cast.
Kyon is literally the voice of the anime. He's a first year high school student at North High School who does not believe in supernatural things. Well until he sees it. He can be a little doubtful, cynical but also curious. His remarks usually cracks a grin on your face and his expression is priceless! xD Kyon is considered the 'normal' one out of the group because he is. Ahahaha~
Haruhi Suzumiya is also a first year student who goes to North High School. She is the complete opposite of Kyon. She's very energetic and her mind is just unpredictable that it's jaw dropping. She is the "Eccentric-ness" of this peculiar and amazing series. She is smart, athletic, great in
pretty much every extra-curricular activities and totally into supernatural things.
Now try to imagine two people with totally opposite way of seeing things and pretty much opposite in almost every way together in a club xD
Then there's the rest of the club members; Yuki Nagato, an emotionless alien great in combat and technology, Mikuru Asahina, a shy and timid time traveller, and Itsuki Koizumi, A well mannered non-stop smiling esper.
These characters are the comedy's core.

___|| ENJOYMENT ||___
I thoroughly enjoyed this anime. Not just because of the animation and art but also the characters themselves. They stood out so well that it felt like the world was drawn to them. Their interactions with each other and other people is something you'd want to see. I love how Kyon is speaking his mind to us as if he's narrating the story because it engages the viewer and we feel closer to him (well of course since he's the protagonist).Their adventures are filled with 'joy' for us, the viewer, and 'weird ideas' for them, the characters.
Though there is that infamous arc called the "Endless Eight". This was probably of of the biggest downfall for most viewers (Unless you're a huge Suzumiya fan). The Endless Eight arc says it all in the title. Eight episodes looping endlessly. Every event is repeated eight episodes long but not
every thing is the same. Even though the same events are playing for eight episodes, the colours, the clothes they wear, the animation sequence and camera angles are different for every episode. I, for one, didn't really mind the "Endless Eight" arc because I'm a huge fan of K-ON!(!) hence a bit of a Kyoto Animation fan.
I've watched all the eight episodes and I can tell you now if you're going to watch this anime, choose either any of these options:
1) Watch the 1st ep of the Endless Eight arc then watch the last ep of the Endless Eight arc.
2) Watch the 1st ep of the Endless Eight arc and skim through some of the eps afterward and watch the last ep of the Endless Eight arc.
3) Watch all the eps of the Endless Eight arc because either you don't mind, up for the challenge or a huge fan.

This single OVA itself was just as enjoyable as the Lucky Star series itself! Six separate simple and yet interesting and amusing stories revolving around the cast all in a 42 minute long OVA. That is impressive. Although that may be possible for other anime but I don't know if they are capable
of keeping the viewer fix their eyes to the screen like what Lucky Star OVA did successfully.
If you enjoyed the Lucky Star TV series then you will most definitely enjoy this.

The animation and art was simply amazing as ever. The animation was even better in this episode as more fluid and natural movements were applied to characters as they either run around, play sports and the like. (The volleyball story was amazingly well animated). The environment is colourful/vibrant as always and the 3D scenes or 'CG', if you like, was an experience which added depth in animation quality.

Well If you really are planning to watch this OVA and maybe reading my review (xD) then I'm assuming that you're either almost finished with the TV series or completely done and hungry for the OVA so characters should be well known to you. They are the same in the OVA as they are in the series. BUT! In the is OVA you will discover something about Kagami that will totally surprise you!

This OVA was more than enough to satisfy my cravings over Lucky Star. Art was simply amazing with great animation brought to the next level with 3D MMORPG game play and your funny girls with funny remarks and, most importantly, cracked up good laugh. Expect a few parodies as well
as we see... well I forgot what it parodied... but we get to see Kagami as the famous "Miku"! I assume everyone knows Miku right? Well they should!

LycanWerewolf's encode was great. Nothing bad about it and 58 MB too! Scored a 10/10! If it was bad then the lines wouldn't look neat and the colours may seem 'mixed' at parts where totally different colour meets. Nothing like that happened so ~Thumbs up!~
Great relaxing slice of life! Smart and Funny!
Reason why I decided to watch this? Well, If Kyoto Animation made K-ON!(!) (my all time favourite anime) then I would suicide if I left Lucky Star alone. I remember seeing a picture for Lucky Star before I watched K-ON!(!) and noticed the art was very simplistic. That was something that made me want to watch Lucky Star. This anime, for me, was a very enjoyable one.

Having fun in school, doing homework together, cooking and eating, playing videogames, watching anime. All those little things make up the daily life of the anime- and chocolate-loving Izumi Konata and her friends. Sometimes relaxing but more than often simply funny!
[MyAnimeList]
Lucky Star follows four high school girls and their daily lives and conversations. This series did not have a specific storyline, instead more of episodes filled with random topics and interesting facts of these girl's daily lives in school and outside school packed with great animation and comedy. An anime about our daily lives and conversations may seem very bland but this anime brings it to the next level with it's interesting and surprising characters. The dialogue is rather heavy but that doesn't mean it's boring. Each episode has a lot of dialogue and from that we know that the voice actors are doing their best and actually enjoy doing it because its interesting. Lucky Star is really just one of those series where you can just sit back and relax as you watch to your hearts content.

Animation and art were both brilliant. The background was neat and colourful and gets you into the mood of the situation. Character designs were very simplistic. I personally think keeping it simple was the best as it added a certain charm to the anime and was pleasing to the eye. The
animation blew me off. For such a simple anime it's packed with good animation, especially in parody scenes such as Initial D.

_____|| SOUND ||_____
Very enjoyable soundtracks and oh! How can you NOT love the opening!? Opening theme of lucky star was was an eye catcher with a catchy song and was well animated, especially the cheerleading dance sequence; very smooth. Lucky Star's ending wasn't like any other ordinary ending. Instead as the episode is nearing the end, a short show titled "Lucky Channel" begins, starring two other interesting characters by the names of Akira Kogami and Minoru Shiraishi. After the "Lucky Channel" with only a few minutes to spare, we hear the girls sing karaoke, which I guess you could say the ending theme song.
Later on in the series, the karaoke ending will be replaced by actual footage/video clip of the voice actor of Minoru Shiraishi and sometimes other voice actors in Lucky Star singing different songs which is rather entertaining and sometimes embarrassing and funny.

Characters in Lucky Star are so adorable xD
Konata Izumi is a very strange character but also friendly and mischievous. She's the kind of girl you wouldn't call 'typical'. In fact, she felt original because I couldn't think of any other characters that's just like her. Short, flat chest, very athletic, a gamer or both Ero and MMORPG who slacks off in school, and what most people can relate to, an otaku! She IS the STAR in 'Lucky Star'.
We also have the adorable fraternal twins! Kagami Hiiragi and Tsukasa Hiiragi!
Kagami is the older fraternal twin who is probably the most mature out of the group. She's very smart, always scoring grades and studies hard, but surprisingly weak in cooking. What also surprised me was that such a smart girl actually enjoys playing video games, just like Konata, but plays a different genre: Rail shooter! Kagami can sometimes be scary and a bit of a tsundere.
Tsukasa is the younger fraternal twin. She isn't good at sports compared to Konata and she's almost hopeless at studying just like Konata, but when it comes to cooking, she's a star! xD Tsukasa is a bit of a klutz and likes to sleep a lot.
And then there's Miyuki Takara. She is the brains of the anime. She comes from a wealthy family which explains why she's so well mannered, and scores good grades just like Kagami, but is also a bit of a klutz. Miyuki hates going to the dentist and has the biggest breast out of the group
which Konata compares to a 'cow'. Well her name 'Muyiki' does sound like 'Milk'! xD Haha!

I personally think that the first episode focused too much on one topic but overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this series a lot! Everyday conversation brought up to a new level in addition with adorable character designs, welcoming environment, fun sound tracks and very smooth animation
including impressive parodies (such as Initial D!).
Though this anime may not fit some peoples tastes. If you're someone who prefers a storyline with lots of things happening then you might wanna pass this anime. Lucky Star is not very explosive nor is it dull. It's a smart and humorous easy-going anime.

A 'empty good-looking' samurai!
I was all over this anime when I watched the promotional video for it because the action and art were amazing. I was very disappointed after finishing the series. When I say "An 'empty good-looking' samurai!", that pretty much describes the anime itself.

____|| STORY ||____
The story takes place in Japan in the early 21st century, in an alternate reality where the Tokugawa Shogunate has remained in power. In this reality, student councils are tasked with oppressing schools. Yagyuu Muneakira is a high school student who rebels against his student council with the help of girls who've had the names of famous samurai heroes passed on to them.
[MyAnimeList]
Hyakka Ryouran: Samurau Girls is about a male Samurai named Yagyuu Muneakira fighting enemies with the help of Samurai girls. The plot was rather weak. I felt that the episodes strayed off what the synopsis says and becomes something you didn't really expect to happen.
The first episode was a winner! It had a powerful introduction, introducing the viewer to it's amazing water colour cel shading, amazing action and a promising story. Unfortunately, the first episode was misleading and it was probably the only episode I actually really liked out of all 12 episodes. The anime started off well, then probably after episode 2, 3 or 4 the story seemed to go for a new direction and started to get random and inconsistent and then came the 'cheesy' ending...
___________________
___|| ANIMATION ||___
The animation and art were the only things that kept me watching. The animation was rather inconsistent though. Animation were only at best during the action scenes and when it comes to common movements it was alright. There was ONE fight scene i thought deserved a 10/10 and that was the fight sequence in the beginning of episode 2. The art was just as good as the action with it's amazing water colour painted cel shading and ink drop effects. Dark outlines of characters and BG environment made everything look like a moving painting which was a different experience for me. Special effects were pretty good.

___|| CHARACTER ||___
The characters weren't that interesting. Nothing really stood out of them except for their 'Samurai' titles and moves (action). Their personalities didn't feel original. I guess it's because ecchi animes have always been using the same personalities over and over again. But wait, if i think about it there are actually other anime and ecchi ones too that uses similar personalities. Why is it that they are still more enjoyable than Samurai Girls even when they have very similar personalities? Dialogue plays a part here too! (in my opinion) I didn't like the cheesy dialogue in this anime. "Destiny this, destiny that, I'm doing evil acts to save the world". Don't get me wrong, there are some characters that were pretty good and fun to watch (Yagyuu Jubei and her alter ego - Main heroine) but there were others that just ruin the mood.

___|| ENJOYMENT ||___
I did not enjoy the series much. Having just good action and art isn't enough. The story was either all over the place or there is none at all. It felt like the comedy was being forced out and made things obvious and not very funny. Of course if something embarrassing is about to happen we would know but in Samurai Girls case, it was too obvious. I didn't like the "alone with a girl" scene because it was pretty lame. That goes for the dialogue as well. There are other ecchi anime that could do a better job.

If your a person who wants a good story, then, this anime is definitely NOT for you. Even I wouldn't re-watch this when im bored. But if your 'Super' bored or just a mindless action or ecchi freak then sure! Knock yourself out! Otherwise turn down this series please for your sake. It will be a waste of your time if you watch it and you'll regret it for sure. ESPECIALLY when you see the ending!
A butler's competition
A spectacular sequel to Kuroshitsuji.

____|| STORY ||____
In late-nineteenth century England, one year and three months after the dramatic conclusion of the original series, Kuroshitsuji II introduces a new butler and young master. The sadistic yet cheerful Alois Trancy has faced some harsh times. He was kidnapped as a baby, and was forced to work in a village as a slave. Gradually, he lost his parents, his best friend, and everyone he knew. Alois eventually returned home and became the head of his mansion, but seemed to exhibit some strange behavior ever since. Even more curiously, he returned with Claude Faustus, an enigmatic, emotionless butler with unfathomable talent...
[MyAnimeList]
The second season continues from where the first season left off. This sequel had a new story to tell while relating back to the first season and it was, in my opinion, very interesting. Like the synopsis says, Kuroshitsuji II introduces a new boy, Alois Trancy, and a new mysterious butler,
Claude Faustus, both of Ciel's and Sebastian's class. After reading the synopsis I thought that Kuroshitsuji II wouldn't feel the same as it was back in the first season because I thought this second season would focus only on the newly introduced characters. I was wrong. The original deadly duo (Ciel and Sebby) were back in action in a much more interesting plot. Ciel has lost his memory since the first season and again seeks revenge on his parents murderers while Sebastian knew the truth. How everything is revealed will have everything make sense (really there are things you will not know but this season WILL get you around confusion and you WILL know what happened). The story was well played out with with different things going in different directions and then coming back all together to create a fantastic ending.

___|| ANIMATION ||___
Oh boy was the animation great! It feels like it has improved. If you thought that scene with Sebastian setting up the dining table back in the first season was great, wait until you see this new butler do it! The animation was just great and the camera shots made it look big and feel 'epic'.I had the exact same feeling with other major events in Kuroshitsuji II like the Train incident and Sebastian fighting on a large scale chess board.
Opening animation sequence was very well done. I liked how they contrasted Ciel and Alois with their signature colours, blue and yellow. Makes it look really nice. There are two opening: one for the episodes that focus on Alois Trancy and Claude and the other opening for the episodes that
focus on Ciel and Sebastian.

___|| CHARACTER ||___
Oh the characters were brilliant. Ciel and Sebby are ever the same.
Now for the new characters.
Alois Trancy and Claude Faustus were another interesting duo as their existence challenged Ciel and Sebastian. Alois is the head of the Trancy household who had a tragic past just like Ciel and called the demon to make a contract. He has a very unique personality with unpredictable emotions. He is rather hyperactive. One moment he's happy and then, BANG!, gets cranky. Alois has a very close attachment to his demon butler Claude.
Claude Faustus is very similar to Sebastian. The only thing that makes him different is that he talks and acts motionlessly.
Hannah Annafellows is Alois's maid. A very mysterious women who seems very loyal to Alois but at times also terrified of him. Don't think she's just any ordinary maid. >:]

I enjoyed this much more than the first season. I enjoyed the story, animation and art. What's even better? Pluto the dog isn't in it! YAY! The ending of Kuroshitsuji II was a sort of dark bittersweet type. It was a very splendid ending with a definite closure.

Revenge can only lead to total destruction XD
I heard people talk about Kuroshitsuji a while back in MT. Maybe almost a year ago. Kuroshitsuji means 'Black Butler' and I thought to myself, "An anime titled Black Butler? I wonder what it's all about... a butler serving food, polishing silverware and the typical butler stuff for a whole 24 episodes series?". No, it was nothing like that and I never thought that in the first place XD It was interesting to see that it was a rather dark anime.

In Victorian-era Europe, a young boy loses everything he once held near and dear to a vicious plot. In his moment of death, he strikes a deal with a demon: his soul, in exchange for revenge. Ciel Phantomhive is now the head of the Phantomhive corporation, handling all business affairs as well as the underground work for the Queen of England. His new partner is a demon butler, Sebastian Michaelis, whose powers as a butler is only surpassed by his strength as a demon.
The story follows the two along with their other servants, as they work to unravel the plot behind Ciel's parents' murder, and the horrendous tragedies that befell Ciel in the month directly after.
[MyAnimeList]
The synopsis pretty much summarizes the anime well. Ciel Phantomhive seeks revenge on those who were responsible for his parents death and his lust for vengeance attracted Sebastian Michaelis to Ciel's moment of death where they made a contract: Ciel's soul in exchange for revenge. The anime was a mixture of light and dark where the tragedies were masked by the illusion of happiness. The story was a little slow-paced but it was great for the build-up towards the end. Throughout the series Ciel, with his Demon Butler always by his side, solve mysteries and battle crimes that displeases the Queen, which is why he is called the 'Queen's Watchdog' and at the same time, Ciel slowly learns about his tragic past and becomes closer to getting his revenge.

_____|| SOUND ||_____
The sound track and music were brilliant. Opening and ending theme song and animation goes very well with the genre of the anime.

___|| CHARACTER ||___
Ciel and Sebastian stood out of the others obviously not just because they were the main heroes of the anime but also because of their overpowering personalities. Having an almost perfect character may seem like it would ruin the anime but this is not the case for Kuroshitsuji. It was rather a clever thing to do. It felt unique and sort of a one of a kind feeling.
Ciel Phantomhive and Sebastian Michaelis seemed like a perfect and deadly duo. Ciel is far more mature despite his young age (12 but 13 later on) and can sometimes be selfish. Sebastian is a very composed character like Ciel and a bodyguard for Ciel. He is able to handle tasks given by
his master, Ciel, very well and is highly skills in all areas of being a butler and probably excels in any area. And then there's, of course, the small humorous group of servants that serve Ciel. Don't think that they are merely ordinary servants 'cause they're not. XD

___|| ENJOYMENT ||___
It was pretty enjoyable. Some episodes were alright (like 2 or 3 episodes) but the rest were pretty good. Kuroshitsuji did surprise me with a scene that didn't seem PG rated at all! XD
One thing i didn't like about the anime was the dog named Pluto. Why couldn't they just have a real dog's bark instead of having someone acted like a dog. It sounded terrible and I even sweat from embarrassment just from hearing the dog whine and bark. The voice actor who voiced the dog in High School of the Dead and the one that voiced the dog, Akamaru, from Naruto/Naruto Shippuuden were great. However, this dog called Pluto made me bleed from my ears >.
God of Virtual Love!
I knew about this anime before it came out thanks to a certain someone on MT who recommended the manga to me. I ended up not reading the manga but i watched the anime when it first came out.

Keima Katsuragi, a second-year high school student, is an avid dating sim gamer. He is known on the Internet as "The Capturing God" for his legendary skills to be able to "capture" any 2D girl in games. However, in his actual school life, Keima is known as otamegane, a derogatory portmanteau of the two words otaku (オタク) and megane (メガネ-"glasses").
At the start of the series, Keima receives an e-mail offering him a contract to "capture" girls. He accepts what is thought to be a challenge, and a demon from Hell nicknamed Elsie appears. She asks for his cooperation to help her in catching the runaway spirits. These spirits hide themselves inside the girl's heart, and Elsie suggests that the only method to force the spirits out is by "capturing" their hearts—making them fall in love. Appalled by the idea, Keima refuses after clarifying to Elsie that he is only interested in "capturing" 2D girls and that he detests reality. Nevertheless, with the contract already accepted, Keima would have to help Elsie no matter what; if they fail, both Elsie and Keima would lose their heads.
[MyAnimeList]
Another simply amusing and laid back anime just like Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga nai. After accepting the contract, Keima's normal life changed as he becomes more attentive of reality (well just the girls in reality xD) because he fears the consequence of failing to 'capture a girls heart' which means him losing his head. Throughout the series, Keima attempts to make certain girls fall in love with him so that the loose soul in their heart would be forced out and collected by Elsie. The interesting thing about this anime is that the different personalities of each girl he encounters makes it a challenge and he relies on his knowledge and techniques gained from his dating sims to capture the girls hearts.

Keima Katsuragi is the male protagonist of this anime. He's a 17 year old high school student who is obsessed with dating sims. His God like attitude is what makes him interesting and to watch him interact with other people which he never does would be something you'd want to see.
Elsea de Lute Irma is the female protagonist. She is apparently 300 years old because she's a shinigami. Her appearance makes her a 15 or 16 year old character. She has a very sweet and innocent personality and is Keima's partner to find and collect loose souls.
Keima encounters different girls each with different personality. Just watching him deal with each girl using the knowledge and techniques from his games will just have you smile just like that.

Kyousuke Kousaka, a normal seventeen-year-old high school student, hasn't gotten along with his younger sister, Kirino, in years. For longer than he can remember, Kirino has ignored his comings and goings and looked at him with spurning eyes. It seemed as if the relationship between Kyousuke and his sister, now fourteen, would continue this way forever.
One day, however, Kyousuke finds a DVD case of a magical girl anime entitled Hoshikuzu Witch Merle (Stardust Witch Merle), which had fallen into the entranceway of his house. To Kyousuke's surprise, inside the case is a hidden adult video game titled Imouto to Koishiyo! (Love with Little Sister!).
Kyousuke attempts to fish out the culprit who dropped the case by bringing up the topic of magical girl anime at the family dinner table. All that comes out is a strong negative reaction from his parents, especially his anti-otaku policeman father.
That night, Kirino bursts into Kyousuke's room and, in perhaps the first conversation she has initiated with him in years, says they "have things to talk about." Kirino brings Kyousuke to her room and shows him an extensive collection of moe anime and lolicon bishoujo games she has been collecting in secret.
[MyAnimeList]
The story was simply amusing with a laid back and easy going attitude. Kirino, the bossy main heroine, asks her older brother, Kyousuke, for life counseling and when he accepted, that marked the beginning of the restoration of their bonds. Throughout the anime Kyousuke is always arguing with Kirino and life counseling was depicted in the form of fulfilling errands for his sister. As the episodes go on, they become closer like proper siblings thanks to the exposure of anime and how it's dealt with. Some could even say that they can relate to this anime. The plot wasn't very big at all so the words "laid back" is suitable for this anime, but despite having a small simple plot, the comedy was on the roll!

The characters were very interesting. Their interactions with each other either created friendship or calamity, misunderstandings or understanding.
Kyousuke is the main male protagonist. He's a 17 year old high school student who has a distant relationship with his sister, Kirino.
Kirino, the female protagonist, is a 14 year old Model and Kyousuke's sister. She is an otaku and has a strong little sister fetish. Her personality was entertaining for me. She is cold and a tsundere! Her personality was probably dangerous because there are people who actually dislike Kirino because of her ever-coldness towards her brother but really in my opinion, that's what made the anime really fun to watch. What's even more amusing is that Kirino has two groups of friends. Theres the normal group and the "Otakus".

Sakurai Tomoki has settled into his life with the two angeloids, Ikaros and Nymph, and is enjoying himself immensely. However, he keeps having weird dreams and asks all of his friends to help him investigate the cause.
Nymph conjures up a device that enables people, but not angeloids, to enter other people's dreams. The device malfunctions at first but eventually they get to what was supposed to be Tomoki's dream but discover that something is very wrong with it.
Later, a meteor comes crashing down from the skies at the site of the large cherry blossom tree where Tomoki first discovered Ikaros. An extremely well endowed blonde angeloid with a huge sword emerges from the meteor and sets off in search of Tomoki!
[MyAnimeList]
The story started off pretty well but as it progressed i got a little disappointed. It felt like the story degraded a bit as it goes on. When the first season began with the mystery of Tomoki's dreams and the Synapse, it really did got me interested. So did Forte as it began with a strong link to the first season but as the second half of the season drew near it felt like the connection of the Synapse was weakening and focused more on the 2nd Generation Angeloid. If that was the story including the newly introduced enemy angeloid then i would say that the deep feeling of mystery we get from watching the first season turned out to be nothing in the second season and the plot overall wasn't that big. I can confidently say that the first half of Forte was all about Tomoki's dreams and the Synapse and the second half focused more on Tomoki's relation to his Angeloids (including the new one called Astraea) and the 2nd Generation Angeloid.
The plot still had its values as you actually do understand from what you actually don't from the first season.
Nevertheless the comedy excelled and with the introduction of a new clumsy Angeloid, you might need to quit smoking if you're a smoker coz you're gonna laugh quite a bit.

_____|| SOUND ||_____
Lots of enjoyable and fun soundtracks. The opening song AND animation will TOTALLY surprise you. It surprised me and I laughed hard out. Then from episode 2 onwards the opening changes and stays permanent. Just like the first season, the ending theme song and animation always changes depending on the event that has happened in the episode so you won't have to worry about the ending playing the same song and animation over and over again because it won't happen!
____________________
___|| CHARACTER ||___
All the characters seem the same as they were. Maybe a little more hilarious. Especially Tomoki with his developed perverted mind.
The new Angeloid that joined the show is Astraea. She is clumsy and an airhead with lack of intelligence. (You will know why as the balance of their stats will be introduced in this season. This also applies to Ikaros and Nymph.) She is actually stronger than Ikaros but because of the lack of her processing skill or in simpler terms, "clumsiness", she isn't considered a threat.
The relationship of all the main female characters, well except for that sadist Mikako, towards Tomoki develops throughout the series so things do get interesting.

In the near future, a revolutionary new psychotherapy treatment called PT has been invented. Through a device called the "DC Mini" it is able to act as a "dream detective" to enter into people's dreams and explore their unconscious thoughts. Before the government can pass a bill authorizing the use of such advanced psychiatric technology, one of the prototypes is stolen, sending the research facility into an uproar. In the wrong hands, the potential misuse of the device could be devastating, allowing the user to completely annihilate a dreamer's personality while they are asleep. Renowned scientist, Dr. Atsuko Chiba, enters the dream world under her exotic alter-ego, code name "PAPRIKA," in an attempt to discover who is behind the plot to undermine the new invention.
[MyAnimeList]
The story was very refreshing, eccentric in an awesome way and very original. It revolved around the idea of dreaming and deeply explores the human subconsciousness and emotions. Do not think for a second that it would be boring because the film has a lot more to offer than just the concept of dreaming. The film cleverly accomplished the juxtaposition of dreams and reality throughout it and shows the calamity of dream and reality intertwining. It was very imaginative as we get to see Paprika take the form of almost anything including the famous Monkey King and Pinocchio.
The plot was played out pretty well with the ending linking back to the beginning and how bits and pieces of the film makes sense as the film progresses.

Because the film's theme was dream, it was clever to actually overuse colours in some of the scene where it doesn't actually ruin but made it more appealing and have the film bursting with energy with its crazy mass animation (the parade).

_____|| SOUND ||_____
The music was one of the important aspect that kept the film alive and refreshing. The soundtracks were awesome, especially the opening music somewhere at the beginning at the film and somewhere towards the middle and then the credits which played the full song. Eerie music was played at creepy scenes to create suspense (like a doll hiding from you :D) and upbeat music was played during the pursuit/action sequence to excite the viewer.

___|| CHARACTER ||___
I personally love the leading female protagonist.
Dr. Astuko Chiba and her alter ego Paprika. Chiba is the head of the DC Mini development team and a psychiatrist who treats patients by entering their dreams as Paprika, her alter ego. Chiba and Paprika are very much opposite. Paprika is the cheerful and playful kind of girl who only exists in the dream world and Chiba is the opposite who exists in reality.
The other casts are pretty interesting too. There's the genius who invented the DC Mini. He is like a child trapped in a overweight genius's body and doesn't know much about responsibility and the consequences of his actions and invention.
Toshimi Konakawa is a detective who is trying to solve various mysteries of his own life. He is a patient of Paprika who helps him slowly discover and realise things of his past.

It was a very colourful and flashy film that had an original and interesting plot. Its animation was bizarre with so many things happening and its music was very refreshing. I liked how the dream world is forever happy to the extent that it looks psycho and when it clashes with reality things become bizarre and pretty funny.

Thrown into a war between Gods
Another amazing classic by Hayao Miyazaki. Princess Mononoke (or Mononoke Hime) is a very adventurous film filled with many fantastic elements. This was one of Miyazaki's film that I watched in Japanese class back in my first year in high school. It never gets old and boring with its historical fantasy and Japanese mythology.

A calm village residing in the mountains comes under attack from a demon-possessed boar one day.Ashitaka, a young man and prince of the tribe, engages the creature in an attempt to save his village. During the battle, the boar bites him on the arm, leaving it blackened and cursed. Following his village's traditions, Ashitaka is exiled and becomes a wanderer, looking for a solution to the curse before it engulfs him.
Iron Town is a fortress under the leadership of Lady Eboshi. Through the clearing of the surrounding forests, Iron Town produces large amounts of Ironsand, used for gunpowder and other machinery. However, because of the forests destruction, nearby animal clans seek revenge led by a human girl of the Wolf clan called San.
When Ashitaka comes to Iron Town, he discovers the area consumed in battle. Horrified, he attempts to create peace and befriend the Wolf Clan.
However, after the forest's eradication and the ongoing war between Human and Beast, will the Spirit of the Forest be forgiving and accept Ashitaka's request to expel his curse?
[MyAnimeList]
The story follows Ahitaka and his Elk called Yakul on their adventure to find a cure for his cursed arm and encounters a bigger issue that must be resolved before total war breaks out between man and beasts. It's interesting to see that there is no good vs evil in this film and that there is actually no 'flying sequence' which is Miyazaki's well known trademark apart from his character design. Everyone and everything can be seen vulnerable and imperfect. It's a very enticing story that will keep you clinging on the edge of your seat.

___|| ANIMATION ||___
The animation is wonderful. The action was very well animated and dynamic. When Ashitaka climbed up what seems to be a watch tower made out of wood, the motion was very smooth. The buildings and environment were beautifully drawn to create this amazing scenery and to create this divine feeling.
Princess Mononoke was the first to have Computer-generated imagery and Digital paint applied to it to give "a little boost of elegance". The computer was used in the scene where Ashitaka encountered a Boar Demon called Nago. The 3D rendering used to create the worms from the Boar Demon was cleverly applied to his traditional hand-drawn Ashitaka that it looked very natural and still be considered a 2D film.

___|| CHARACTER ||___
I loved every character in this film. There were no good or evil side. Only what becomes of the being depending on the choices it makes.
Ashitaka isn't the typical cheerful kind of character instead more of a serious and melancholy character burdened with a painful fate. His perspective is very much like us. Killing The Boar Demon knowing its potential curse may have been the wrong choice but from the human perspective he had a good enough reason to kill him. His cursed arm has given him possibility of certain death but it also comes to his advantage as it gives him supernatural strength.
Ashitaka is able to rip off limbs with just an arrow when his cursed arm rages.
San, also known as 'Princess Mononoke', is a very interesting character. She rejects her humanity and accepts the life she has with the wolves, thinking that she herself is a wolf. She was raised by Moro, a wolf god, who she calls mother and Moro's pups as her siblings. She cares a lot about the forest and hates humans because they destroy the forest. She is a very quick character. Shes able to dodge arrows and jump swiftly from rooftop to rooftop. An agile girl. An agile wolf girl. :D

The vain and vengeful Witch of the Waste, jealous of their friendship, puts a spell on Sophie. In a life-changing adventure, Sophie climbs aboard Howl's magnificent flying castle and enters a magical world on a quest to break the spell.
[MyAnimeList]
Howl's Moving Castle really is a magical and wonderful film. It is a very calm and quiet movie yet also bursting with excitement and suspence for the actoin scenes. The very moment that Sophie stepped onto Howl's Moving Castle was the beginning of her exhilarating adventure to break the spell cast upon her by the Witch of the Waste.
Throughout the film Sophie encounters many obstacles and visits many places in addition of breathtaking scenery! Imagine an open field of the blowing green grass and colourful flowers and ponds or the green hills and the clear blue sky with the sun's rays reflecting onto Howl's Moving Castle in the distance. Hehe ~drools~ Makes you wish you were there to experience the time and place. Her interaction with many amusing characters makes the movie very enjoyable and even funny.

Astonishing animation and art. The flying and levitating/floating parts were very smooth and very fluid. VERY little repetitive movements so its animation is always fun to watch and consistent throughout the film. The buildings and scenery were drawn elegantly and the way Howl's Moving Castle's drawn parts were animated really surprised me.

The sound tracks themselves were already amazing. Created something whimsical with its classical string instruments and possible other kinds which very well suited the era the film was set in where it appears a war is brewing and starts off it a place that feels and looks like England.

Howl's Moving Castle has an interesting and unique cast of characters. Each one very special and funny in their own ways.
Sophie, a hatter, is the main heroine in the film. She is a responsible and beautiful girl who has a very cool manner. Sophie's development flourished as soon as she was cursed with old age by the Witch of the Wasted. It seems that she is more relaxed, more relaxed and easy going ever since the curse. She learns from her physical and inner journey with the support of other characters in the film.
Howl is a mysterious and magnificent wizard who owns the Castle. He is a flamboyant character and also a little unexpected.

It was well encoded. The visuals were breathtaking if it weren't for the encode. You wouldn't want to see a sort of dark scenery that is meant to be brighter and have fine lines waving for the plants instead of blowing blocky grass. A 10/10.
Impress the magnificant city, charming little Witch!
I was doing some stuff on my laptop and noticed that my friend was watching something. I came over to see what was on the screen. An adorable little girl on a broomstick flying past the people's legs at a high speed. Straight away I could see that the animation was really fluid and went on my list of "MUST WATCH".

Kiki's Delivery Service is an intriguing movie. Yes, It does look old because it's an old anime movie (duh!) but its got lots to offer. The amazing visuals, use of colour and animation were very impressive. So old movie don't seem to age after all! xD
The story wasn't insane and full of action instead more of the opposite. A sweet and lively story of a 13 year old witch called Kiki and her adventures. When a witch turns 13, they leave their home town and settle in a different location to hone their skills and learn to be independent.
The movie quickly begins with Kiki preparing for the journey ahead of her as she has turned 13 and it is part of the tradition for Witches to leave and settle to live in another place for a year. The movie follows Kiki and her pet black cat, Jiji, on an exciting adventure and the obstacles they face. A great story with a great ending.

___|| CHARACTER ||___
Kiki's Delivery Service has a fun and simple cast of characters that will please you throughout the film with their fun and bubbly personality.
There's Kiki, the 13 year old witch, who seems to be excited over the simplest things in life and very hard working. She is very enthusiastic and no matter the obstacles she always give it her best shot.
Osono is a pregnant woman who runs a bakery in Koriko (the city) and shows kindness and respect to others. She is seen as Kiki's care taker who provides her advice and emotional support.
Tombo is a boy that Kiki meets in Koriko. He looks a bit like a geek but his personality reveals something different. He is crazy about aviation and respects Kiki because of her ability to fly and also develops a liking towards her.
Character development played an important role for Kiki as she learns to become responsible and independent. Throughout the movie she also experiences insecurity and loneliness and learns to overcome these unfavourable feelings.

I watched Spirited Away back then when i was in my first year of high school. I must say that its a golden classic. Worth re-watching after a while. Intrigued, the family investigates the park, though unbeknown to them, it is secretly inhabited by spirits who sleep by day and appear at night. When Chihiro’s mother and father eat food from a restaurant in the street, angry spirits turns them into pigs. Furthermore, a wide sea has appeared between the spirit world and the human one, trapping Chihiro, the sole human, in a land of spirits. Luckily for her though, a mysterious boy named Haku appears, claiming to know her from the past. Under his instructions, Chihiro secures a job in the bathhouse where Haku works. With only her courage and some new found friends to aid her, Chihiro embarks on a journey to turn her parents back to their original forms and return home.
[MyAnimeList]
Spirited Away is a happy, warm, whimsical, charming (Lots to describe! :D) movie charming the viewers with its adorable characters and taking us on Chihiro's journey into the magical world of Spirits and Gods with its interesting plot unfolding. As Chihiro wanders into the world of Spirits she finds a job in an enormous bathhouse where she encounters and befriend Spirits and Gods. Working in the bathhouse she attempts to save Haku and her parents and take on yet another breathtaking journey with fun Spirit companions.
In my opinion, I feel that this movie is not just for children but for everyone. It does look like its aimed at children but I personally think its also aimed at older audiences as well where everyone of all ages can enjoy. Even my mum enjoyed it. Yes, she watched as she was eating her lunch xDA story filled with bumpy adventures and tear jerking comedy. How could I (and my mum) not like it
? LOL!
I'm happy that this movie does offer some suspence :D I tensed up as Chihiro slowly climbed down the steep wooden stairs with no railings and the wind blowing at her.

___|| ANIMATION ||___
This is something that Studio Ghibli always excel in: Animation. Its stunning animations and visuals engages the viewer making them feel like they are there. You see Chihiro walk in a field of grass as it waved with the passing wind and you can a almost feel the wind. You see her squeezing through a busy crowd in the bathhouse and can practically feel that you're there with the steam prickling your skin.
What I really liked about Spirited Away was that it always seemed so lively with everything moving. Every character's and object's movement animated to move as they would moved and never seem still.

_____|| SOUND ||_____
(I only watched the Japanese audio)
The sound track were very enjoyable. With the music, it gives the journey much more depth and feels very refreshing when you hear it. The sounds tracks creates suspense and assisted with the mood of the situation where a fast happy music would be played during busy lively bathhouse and an intense music played during an attack.
There were no electronic soundtracks instead they were played with instruments like the violin and so forth so it gave the movie a classical feel to it.

___|| CHARACTER ||___
The character designs are unique. I know there are some people who find the design a little 'weird' (one of my friend for instance >.>) but it was differs them from the typical drawing of anime character design. It's like Studio Ghibli's signature character design. It does have a children appeal but that doesn't mean it can't attract older viewers. Whenever i see how the character looks, like Mononoke Hime (princess mononoke) and Castle in the Sky, you can tell straight away: Studio Ghibli! :)
The characters in the movie are very interesting. Each one different physically and mentally creating a big diversity of Spirits and Gods and also a human! Chihiro of course!
Chihiro is a 10 year old girl who's adorably shy and always expecting the worst.
Haku is the mysterious stranger who helps Chihiro in the Spirit world and is her first friend in this world. He works for Yubaba and apparently he saved Chihiro in the past when she fell into a river. Want to know more? Then wiki it! xD
Yubaba is an evil and greedy witch that runs the gigantic bathhouse. She is known to be powerful and able to turn into a bird.
Lin is a worker in the bathhouse who takes care of Chihiro.

I came across Koe de Oshigoto! and then came across it's manga. A 16 year old taking up the job for an eroge voice actress at her sisters company?
That really sucked me in. I read the manga so I know how closely the anime follows it. ~It follows the manga really well~. This review is just based on the first episode :)
_________________
____|| STORY ||____
Koe de Oshigoto! is a story about Aoyagi Kanna, a 16 year-old girl who was asked to become an erotic game voice actress on her 16th birthday by her 28 year-old sister at her company.
[MyAnimeList]
Your first impression after reading the synopsis would be like "Yep, there's gonna be a lot of erotic scenes". Yes, I totally thought that as well and you'd obviously expect that since the anime will be around Kanna voicing character's in eroge and you guys know what contents there are in it.
The story is pretty much said in the synopsis. 16 year old Kanna was forced to work at her sister's company by her sister to voice girls in eroge which is what the company makes. Kanna, being pure and innocent and JUST 16, must learn to handle "these words" including "erotic lines" to become a pro seiyuu/voice actor.
This episodes seemed a bit rushed and much wasn't explain. The manga, however, explained things more thoroughly compared to the anime so if you wanna know more then read it. But I can let that go since 2 or 3 chapters was squeezed into this episode.
A generic plot (knowing what to expect coz I read the manga) that's still enjoyable because of the slightly developing storyline and "other" qualities. xD

___|| ANIMATION ||___
I was ASTONISHED by the animation! Expressions, mouth movement, chibi scenes, special effects and other actions were amazingly well animated.
It was very smooth and fluid. The dark outline and the bright cell-based colouring made the characters stand out. That was very clever.
I really liked the dark outlines of the characters as it gave them a sort of game-ish 2D and 3D dimensional quality. The designs for the character and the setting/environment was appealing and very neat and clean. Wasn't sketchy. Wasn't messy. Wasn't bad at all.

_____|| SOUND ||_____
The opening and ending theme songs and animation was very enjoyable. The opening caught my attention with it's electronic music and then opens up to a more of a happy hip kind of song. I can't really say anything about the ending. It was just good. The songs don't sound like are actually sung by a famous pro singer, instead more of just a cast of the anime. I think its the voice actor of Kanna.
Sound tracks were great. Serves great for ecchi and erotic scenes and other OST's fit in so well for the chibi comedy scenes and comedic atmosphere.

___|| CHARACTER ||___
I personally think the characters were pretty unique.
The female protagonist, Kanna Aoyagi, is an innocent high school girl who begins work at an eroge company on her 16th birthday. Her strong imagination is what makes her very special. She is very reluctant when it come to saying very erotic lines from scripts but learns to overcome them.
Yayoi Aoyagi is Kanna's older sister who was responsible of forcing her sister to work for her eroge company; Blue March. She's a pretty straight forward kind of person and very calm around erotic and perverted things. It's as if they were just the 'normal'.
Fumika is a pro seiyuu working in Blue March. Kanna admired her for her voice acting.
There are other interesting characters to be seen in the anime.

'COMEDY'-packed anime series
I did see the picture of Sora no Otoshimono a couple of times but never really had the urge to watch it. My friend kept bugging me about it and wanted me to watch. He showed me a few funny scenes from the anime and I cried from laughter. xD
The artwork for the environment was pretty good; 'luscious' would sum it up, and I, for a reason i don't know if it exist, liked the colours used in the anime. It was colourful and bright but also dark at times and the dark is somewhat sort of...How do i say this..glittery? Just like Angel Beats. The way its presented, including the use of vibrant glowing colours, is definitely similar to Angel Beats.
There is a lot of panty flashing, censored nudity and other perverted things so to all the ecchi lovers out there; "~THIS IS YOUR HEAVEN!~"

[MyAnimeList]
I wasn't expecting much of a storyline and thought it would be horrible because it was ecchi and had mainly fanservice but the anime proved me wrong.
An angel falls before Tomoki and now this mysterious angel thinks of Tomoki as its master. Tomoki does unbelievable things now that he has an angel with huge breasts that can grant any wish at his command. The story is well done and developed and eventually the story will gain more depth as the mystery of the angel and the 'new continent' is gradually becoming the main focus and slowly being uncovered. Loud and clear with enjoyable OST. The opening theme song was catchy and the ending theme actually changes depending on the event that has happened in the episode.
I believe this way the ending theme song won't be tedious. The animation for the ending song also varies and sometimes is a continuation of the episode so it will be fun to watch.

Every character is special in their own way. Each one has their own strengths and weaknesses which is what makes the anime funny and interesting.
Tomoki is the male protagonist. He has a personal motto of "peace and quiet is the best" or something like that but ever since the angels started living with him, his life has been in an uproar and cries as opportunity to enjoy peace and quiet is completely gone. He is really perverted and does whatever it takes to achieve his perverted goals.
Ikaros is the angel that calls Tomoki as her master. She is a pet-class 'Angeliod'. Her mindless actions and emotionless statements is hilarious.
There are other main characters like Sohara, Tomoki's childhood friend and neighbour. Don't let her innocent looks fool you! :D Do something stupid and your skull will be cracked in half.
Nymph; another Angeliod, and Mikako; president of the student council. She's a sadist. A MAJOR sadist!
And, mostly like in any other anime, the genious! Eishirou is the only member of the 'New Continent Discovery Club' and seems to be the only one that has a very logical mind while everyone else is just prancing happily around an invisible leprechaun. Well the others do have common sense and are fairly smart but sometimes their brains just switch off.
You won't get bored of any of them! They are all funny in their own ways.

Fighting for friendship
Back then when MT was just new to BRS it was quite the gossip. I'm glad that I watched this movie. (I consider this a movie!)
~STORY~:
The story was pretty straightforward. It was basically about an innocent and naive girl by the name of Mato Kuroi who attends her first day of junior high school. Her attention is drawn to another girl called Yomi Takanashi at the entrance who is completely the opposite of Mato; mature. They become friends but as they enter their second year in school they are separated in different classes and they begin to grow apart from each other.Mato and her basketball manager, Yuu, become close and Yomi becomes jealous.
You will watch as Mato's and Yomi's friendship grow stronger and then weaken as they start seeing is other less and less in their second year at school.At some point to will notice that jealousy has taken over Yomi. In order to save Yomi, Mato takes the challenge of bringing her back, saving her from herself.
The story is simple right? i think so but what makes it appear complex or 'confusing', would be the better word, is the short fight scenes throughout the movie. You probably might think "Is this a parallel world?", "Whats going on?", "Does that blue girl represents Mato and Green girl represents Yomi?"
[MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!]
Well, to tidy up things and clear the confusion. You will notice that something strange happened with Yomi (I won't say what). At the end of the movie, before the credits, Mato meets a girl resembling her except with a blue fire flickering in her left eye called Black Rock Shooter who is from another world. Mato fuses with Black Rock Shooter in order to save Yomi who has been taken over by jealousy. Their long battle was dispersed throughout the movie so those short battles you see throughout the animation were actually the continuation of the end. If you know what I'm trying to say.
~ANIMATION~:
Animation was great! It was smooth, fluid and kept its consistency and the action was really good. Details have been put into falling pillars, ground, rubble, etc.
~SOUND~:
Black Rock Shooter song was played a few times throughout the movie but there were also other soundtracks that sounded great but there weren't much. Not much OST was played though so it did sound a bit quiet but they do play at the right moment to 'capture' your heart. I think the quiet parts of the movie do actually get you into this movie coz that's what happened to me. Your trapped in its atmosphere :D The Black Rock Shooter theme song sounded wonderful and emotional.
~CHARACTER~:
Each character were very normal, like us, yet also unique. We are able to see the kind of personality they have. The way the characters of the normal world depicted in the other abstract-like world was pretty cool. You are able to see clearly the personality each character and their attire really do help reveal it (only two haha! might be one more).
Jealousy. Determination. Innocent. Pure. Evil. A change of heart.
~ENJOYMENT~:
Yes, I enjoyed this anime because there was action played throughout the movie. It explored the hardship in friendship in the normal world and friendship in hardship in the other world. The way the other world have been presented was pleasing to the eye. Well to me and any others that might like it. The abstract design, repetitive patterns and colours made it look unique. The design and colours used made the world look empty and dead and interesting.
~ENCODE~:
Encode was really good for a small size. I compared the quality to the larger size one that I downloaded from animetake and there is little difference in the quality. Sound was loud and clear and quality was great.
Yuu's figure is seen in the abstract-like world.
She seemed a little strange at the end of the movie.
What will happen?
Has she become jealous?
Will the event repeat itself?
I want a sequel!
Sequel to Sekirei. Completion of the Second Stage!
Sekirei ~Pure Engagement~, the sequel to Sekirei.
Story: Continuing from where the first season left off, Minato and his four troublesome Sekireis continue to fight the other Sekireis and surprisingly he attains two more Sekireis. As i watched on it seemed to follow on well with the stage but then the story just turned into an arc about one of the Sekirei past and love life, problems and really it just slowed down the storyline.
But the arc wasn't that bad. As the arc was coming to the end, at the same time the story went back on track and Stage two came to an end. The final mission Minato pulled off along with his loyal Sekireis triggered the 3rd stage! The series end there. But of course to be continued in the next season.
Animation: It was still pretty good :D The animation in the Pure Engagement OVA was amazingly fluid and pretty smooth. The fight scenes in this anime never cease to disappoint me. Though i liked the fight scenes from the first season more (that's MY opinion).
Sound: Sound was great. At a level that everyone can enjoy.
Characters: Same characters with same personalities still fighting over Minato. The little girl (forgot her name) aka Green Girl is still the living humor of this anime. Something interesting! Some characters back from the prequel have changed a little, some whos past life will be revealed in detail and one who suddenly has a change of heart.
To protect the person you love you will have to hurt another whom you love. Who will it be?
Enjoyment: Nooo!! Only OVA and episode 1 are uncensored!! Nevertheless it was still enjoyable with its action and suspense towards the end.
Encode: Over satisfactory. 10/10.
The Second Stage has come to an end and the Third has just begun...(well, you'll have to wait for third season xD)
Spiced the anime with its uncensored scenes & action
This anime to me was really just an average anime. But i guess what spiced it up was the uncensored scenes and unexpectedly amazing action.
Story: Minato Sahashi is extremely intelligent, yet due to his inability to cope under pressure has failed the college entrance exam twice. As a result he has been branded an idiot and loser by many. One day after talking to his yet again disappointed mother he comes into contact with a girl named Musubi who was under attack. The girl runs but takes him with her and soon finds that Minato, while unknown to him, is an Ashikabi, one of the mysterious set of masters that have the genetic trait that can become partners with some of the 108 cute girls, buxom women, and bishōnen called "Sekirei". The reason for the partnership allows the Sekirei to use all their power to win in the competition held by the mysterious MBI corporation.
[MyAnimeList]
In my opinion the storyline was average. Wasn't very original but it was interesting to see that it was divided into stages. Minato is forced into this game held by the MBI since he winged a Sekirei and surprisingly numerous more.
According to wiki (hehe :D) there are six stages but this series only covered the first stage and completed half of the second stage where the series ended. Of course to be continued in the sequel, Sekirei ~Pure Engagement~.
Animation: If it wasn't for the action I would've given it a 7 or 8. I could say that the animation did not keep its consistency not in a bad way, but a good way. The animation excluding the action was average but the animation for those chibi scenes were pretty fluid. The action was what got me to give a score of 9. The action sequence was really awesome that i really want to animate it myself!
Sound: Sound was great. They weren't that superb nor were the sound bad. Just at the level that everyone can enjoy.
Character: Characters were interesting. Minato having winged so many female Sekireis, one even being a little girl (what a pedo LOL!), shows us the many personalities each one have and their relations to Minato whom they constantly fight over which is funny. The little Sekirei girl is the living humor of this anime :D
Enjoyment: Well I enjoyed watching this anime. Mainly because of the uncensored scenes, action, humor and how the story will play out.
Encode: I didn't watch this particular encode (I watched on dvd). So an arbitrary 8
A game with six stages. How will the next stage play out? :D
PERVERTED COMEDY ANIME. YOU WILL LAUGH AT THIS!
Seitokai Yakuindomo does not have any particular storyline instead random like Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu. This anime really does make you laugh almost as much as you would with Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu because of the use sex related jokes and misunderstanding. From just watching the opening theme you will definitely know that this anime is funny and perverted.
Story: "Tsuda Takatoshi is about to begin his first year in Ousai Academy. His decision to enter Ousai was based upon it being close to his home and he paid no heed to the fact he'd be among the first boys to enter the recently gender-integrated school.
On his first trip to school, Takatoshi is surrounded by girls; the train has nothing but girls, the walk to school has nothing but girls and once he finally arrives he is approached by a group of girls and summarily appointed vice-president of the student council and, as expected, he is the only boy there.
Now Takatoshi finds himself surrounded by crazy girls who do nothing but horrify him with their candid conversations about feminine hygiene products and, what's worse, assume he's the worst kind of man, the kind who doesn't clean himself and watches porn all day long."
[MyAnimeList]
Animation: There was nothing bad about the animation. The animation kept its consistency and there was one point where the animation got really good (A short fight scene which looked like a trailer for a totally different anime). :D
Sound: Sound was loud and clear and assisted with the mood of the situation. That varies from funny to even scary. Yes scary. You can never really expect what this anime throws at you. The opening theme song was really catchy and the ending theme song was great! My friends thinks its funny coz part of the song was sung so quick. I think the ending theme animation gave the anime style.
Character: Haha! This anime would be nothing if it wasn't for the characters personality. Four members of the Student Council!
Tsuda Takatoshi is an innocent guy attending Ousai and forced into Student Council.
Shino Amakusa is the Student Council President. She is serious in doing her work and talented on most subjects but is constantly thinking about perverted things and easily misunderstand things.
Aria Shichijou is a clueless girl from a wealthy family. She appears to be mature but her mind tends to wander off somewhere else.
Suzu Hagimura is a genius and considered the most normal after Tsuda out of the Student Council members. She is seems to be the most mature despite her elementary-like student appearance but she is sensitive about it.
Enjoyment: I enjoyed it enough to give it a 10/10 bucause of the jokes they have to offer and misunderstandings.
Encode: 10/10 It was brilliant. Only 85mb and the quality is as good as the 300mb of this anime from Animetake.
INSANE AND FULL OF ACTION
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is one of the most insane action packed anime you could ever watch. The structure of the storyline was great but what I really loved about the anime was the 'developement' of the storyline. Throughout the anime you will see the developements of the characters, the growth of rebellions, upgrades and even time! where you see how its like a few years forward and watch the characters grow stronger and older over time.
I recommended this anime to my friend. I asked him if he liked it and he replied back; "So many people died...BUT IT WAS AWESOME!!!".
Story: "In a far away future, mankind lives underground in huge caves, unknowing of a world above with a sky and stars.In the small village of Jiha, Simon, a shy boy who works as a digger discovers a strange glowing object during excavation. The enterprising Kamina, a young man with a pair of rakish sunglasses and the passion of a firey sun, befriends Simon and forms a small band of brothers, the Gurren Brigade, to escape the village and break through the ceiling of the cave to reach the surface, which few believe exist.
The village elder won't hear of such foolishness and punishes the Brigade. However, when disaster strikes from the world above and the entire village is in jeopardy, it's up to Simon, Kamina, a girl with a big gun named Yoko, and the small yet sturdy robot, Lagann, to save the day.
The new friends journey to the world above and find that the surface is a harsh battlefield, and it's up to them to fight back against the rampaging Beastmen to turn the tide in the humans' favor! Pierce the heavens, Gurren Lagann!"
[MyAnimeList]
Animation: The animation was probably the heart of this anime along with the storyline. The fight scenes were insane and well made. Great effects and fine details were used giving greater quality to the fight scenes. Other than the fight scenes the animation quality was great.
Sound: It was good. Plays when neccassary. I even liked the short music that played during the middle of an episode. A cool 'Bad Boys' kind of feeling.
Enjoyment: How can you not enjoy this anime? It was action almost every episode.
~A wonderful anime you will have to watch~
This anime have so much quality in their dialogue that its almost as if this anime can be studied in Japanese class.
I really liked this anime because of the wonderful story of a love triangle or square (hehe...i should has reviewed this anime while it was still fresh in my head. My bad~) and definitely because of of the symbolism used and other techniques used in the dialogue such as metaphors and simile and other techniques that has given this anime great quality.
The visuals and art added quality to this anime giving it an emotional feel/touch.
Story: Shinichiro is a student living in what would be a dream come true for most high school boys, but for him is mostly a frustration. A well liked girl in school named Hiromi has lived in his house for a year along with his family. Her father was a close friend of the family, and when he died they immediately took her in. She is popular and well liked, always smiles, is talented in sports- but Shinichiro knows there must be tears inside her. Having an artistic tendency, he makes water colors of her and thinks about wishing to ease her tears. Yet he cannot bring up the nerve to talk to her even in his own home. She, too, is quiet and withdrawn in their house, quite unlike at school. Shinichiro is also distracted by teasing from his friend Nobuse for watching Hiromi from afar, a curse of bad luck from a strange girl named Noe, and being forced to perform Muhiga dancing. By helping Noe he hopes to ease his own problems, yet he seems to have difficulty helping himself.
[MyAnimeList]
As you watch along you'll see the wonderful way the anime is presented and how the protagonist, Shinichiro, expresses his feelings and tells his story through drawing a beautiful picture book.
Animation: The animation is was great. There were some 3D use in the anime.
Sound: I personally think the sound or OST played a big role in this anime. It definitely assisted with the atmosphere of the situation and i loved it. The opening somewhat opens up to you and you can already tell just by listening to the opening that this anime will be emotional.
Character: The characters looked great with fine details. The anime succeeds in exploring the characters feelings and how they grow and intertwine and how they managed.
Enjoyment: 10/10. Like I said i really enjoyed it because of its artwork and the quality of the language used. Secretly, another reason why i loved this anime was because i can relate to the protagonist but not almost completely.
Encode: Surprisingly the quality of the encode was great! Its the kind of quality you'd expect from downloading anime of file size 200 + instead now its only 90MB all thanks to iker! :D Horray!
Emotionally touch~
The language quality~
The art~
The characters life~
~The picture book~
Great animation! Great storyline! The anime is double the Greatness!
Lets just say 'Don't let the childish appearance fool you.'
It may look child-ish but seriously it is a masterpiece!
I had to give every aspect of this anime a 10/10 and couldn't find a reason to give it a 9.
The animation, art, sound and the storyline really sucked me into this anime.
Story: Eleven years after the introduction of internet-connected, augmented reality eyeglasses and visors, Yūko Okonogi moves with her family to Daikoku City, the technological center of the emerging half-virtual world. Yūko joins her grandmother's "investigation agency" comprised of children equipped with virtual tools and powerful metatags. She quickly crosses paths with Yūko Amasawa, an expert hacker of the virtual environment, as Amasawa relentlessly seeks to "unlock" the mystery of a computer virus that emerges from an inaccessible corrupted space.
[MyAnimeList]
As you watch on, especially past episode 6, the anime delves deeper into the mystery of illegals (mysterious black creatures) and eventually opens up to a MUCH bigger storyline with a more bigger and serious mystery to solve. "Who is Miss Michiko?" "4423?" "Accident related to illegals?" "What happens when children fall asleep with their cyber glasses on?"
Animation: Animation was superb. The animation is as good as Summer Wars and Xam'd: Lost Memories.
Sound: Oh man. The opening theme song was the first thing i really liked when i started watching the anime. The ending theme song is very fitting for the end and sounds great as it is sung by the same singer who sings the opening, Ikeda Ayako.
Character: Was a very good choice to keep em' simple.
Enjoyment: Looks obvious but hey, i really do love this anime. Its funny, mysterious, interesting, cool and even sad.
Encode: The encode was brilliant. The quality of what you'd expect from downloading 200MB anime.
Thank you so much fshahid for the flawless encode! xD
A shaking anime that shook my heart
Story: Middle schooler Mirai takes her little brother to a Robot exhibition for summer vacation. Mirai's little brother goes to the toilet. Mirai texts on her phone that the 'world should just end' and mintutes later the robot exhbition is hit with a powrful earthquake and also throughout tokyo bringing down buildings and creating chaos.
After recovering from the shock Mirai enters the now fragile building where the exhibition was held in search for her little brother and along with a delivery woman they aim to get back home. On their journey home they will encounter aftershcks, tsunamis and massive crowds.
Animation: Animation is pretty good. there were some good 3D effects.
Sound: opening and ending theme songs were alright. There wasnt much background music but they do play when necessary.
Characters: Simple characters trying to get home. Themes like love, trust and hatred are explored among the characters.
Enjoyment: It gets pretty epic in the first 6 episodes but the 'epicness' dies down afterwards and thats when the drama kicks in. The drama was unexpected and hit me hard. :D
Encode: Great for encode of size 55mb but i think there was a very short glitch in episode 2 that can be easily ignored.
Overall it was a good anime. Watch it when you have the time.
Better! Funnier! K-ON!! Season 2
Story: Yui Hirasawa, Ritsu Tainaka, Mio Akiyama, and Tsumugi Kotobuki are in their final years of high school and together with Azusa Nakano they spend their time after school playing, eating and hanging out. They still do have a goal from the first season.
It is pretty much following the lives of the Light Music Club members everyday life but with more excitement, more 'out of the ordinary'. Its random like Baka to Test to Shokanju but really fun to watch.
Animation: I have to give it a 10/10. The animation in K-ON!! never disappoints me. Nor should it disappoint you!
Sound: Sound are great since the anime IS about music. Opening theme songs are great. Insert songs are fun to listen to. BGM are also great and the ending theme songs are awesome!! The ending theme songs DEFINITELY gives this anime style.
Characters: They are still teh same. The way you would still want them. Cute and simple looking girls with surprising personalities.
Enjoyment: To me it seems that K-ON!! season 2 got better and funnier. I laughed more at this than the first season though both are really good and laughed at a lot.
Encode: Superb! Definitely can't say anything bad about the encode. Its perfect.
Great relaxing slice of life anime
Story: Three girls, Mio, Ritsu and Tsumugi signs up for the Light Music Club but needs one more member to officially have a band. Hirasawa Yui, a young carefree girl, signed up after seeing the advertising poster of the Light Music Club thinking it would be 'easy music'. Mio, Ritsu and Tsumugi can all play an instrument but Yui has yet to learn how to play the only instrument she wanted to play. A Guitar.
K-ON! is a warm and funny anime to watch. It follows the girls relatively normal high school life and the development of the Ligh Music club.
Animation: Animation is really good. Have to give it a 10/10.
Sound: Opening and ending are great including the insert songs by the Light Music Club band. They are all sung by the voice actors of the members of the light music club.
Characters: They look simple. They look cute. They look great but their personality is pretty bizarre. Yui the [super]carefree girl, Ritsu the energetic president of the Light Music Club, Mio the only one mature at times but also a scaredy cat and Tsumugi the rich girl thats surprised at almost everything.
Enjoyment: You will enjoy this. Its funny and its cute.
Encode: Great encode 10/10
Loved it to BITSZ!
Story: "Welcome to the world of OZ. OZ is a virtual world that can be enjoyed by people from all over the world. You can easily access OZ through a personal computer, cellular phone, or even your television. Now lets try experiencing the world of OZ..."
An eleventh grader maths genius, Kenji, goes to the Jinnouchi clan for a summer job because his secret crush, Natsuki, asked him to come along. When they arrive and many other members are gathering kenji discovers that his summer job was to pretend to be Natsukis' girlfriend.
One night he gets a strange maths problem on his cell phone and because he is a maths genius he might as well solve it.
He solved it.
He sent the answer.
And that is when the problem begins.
Animation: I looooved the animation. Almost everything seemed to be moving and action were great! Amazing visuals and the character design/ art I like.
Sound: Sound is great also. Made the movie seem more interesting.
Characters: Simple looking characters with simple characteristics but unique personaity. They ARE from or related to the Jinnouchi clan after all.
Enjoyment: Yep! enjoyed it to bits! There were some funny parts. There were some sad parts. There were some awesome parts too! :)
Encode: This encode i watched and i liked a lot. 10/10!
Relaxing anime that will give you a good laugh :)
Story: About a lolicon 16 year-old Souta Takanashi working in the family restaurant Wagnaria. The pay is normal. The customers are normal. The restaurant itself is normal. The employees and the boss may not be as normal as you think they are.
Animation: Animation was great.
Sound: I really like the opening and ending. Soundtrack i like as well. Its nothing you will hate or get annoyed by.
Character: All the characters are abnormal. All of them unique. It is what makes this anime fun to watch.
Enjoy: I enjoyed this anime. 9/10
Encode: Yeh its good. 9/10
Watch this ONLY if you really like ecchi
Story: There is no particular storyline. Maybe Keita's goal of getting into his elder sisters' high school but other than that its pretty weak. Couldn't really pick out the story line. Only thing you'll definitely pick out of this anime would be 'brother-sister incest'.
Animation: Its ohkay. Though i have to admit that the animation can sometimes annoy me cause its a bit below standard.
Sound: I have to admit that the opening theme song was catchy :) Soundtrack were good.
Characters: The characters weren't unique instead simple but maybe a little abnormal with all the incest activities going on.
Enjoyment: If your a person who only enjoys anime for ecchi then you may want to watch this but for me i didn't really enjoy it much. There was time where it was funny but thats it.
Encode: Really good 10/10
CG animated movie! You gotta love this one.
Story: The main characters from the first movie Appleseed are now back in action in Ex machina! Deunan and Briareos now partners and lovers working as elite members of the E.S.W.A.T forces. They are deployed whenever and wherever there is trouble.
Apparently the citizens have been acting strangely and it affects Briareos. He is forced to leave Duenan behind and she is assigned to another partner. An experimental Bioroid by the name by Tereus.
hmm i guess it would be a simple story line. Investigate what is wrong and eliminate the cause. Of course there is more to tell in the movie.
Animation: 10/10! CG animated with more action than the first movie!
Characters: There is a bit of development with Deunan as she is partnered with someone else. Her relation with the new partner, Tereus, develops.
Enjoyable: With more action packed in this one. Surely it not possible not to enjoy it more than the first movie.
Encode: Again, I did not download and watch this encode so its an 8/10.
You have to watch this! SUPERB!
Story: Centuries of global war has brought about a 'Utopia' populated with humans and bioroids (artificial humans). Some of the humans are in the process of learning to get along with the bioroids and living in peace. But the human race is slowly reducing and tension is rising from below the surface.
A survivor of the war, Deunan Knute, is found alone in a dark, empty devastated city who carries sometime important capable of saving the future of humanity.
A great story to tell with nicely animated actions and amazing visuals.
Animation: Have to give it a 10/10! The fight sequence are awesome and nicely animated. Imo the movie has a blend of cg animation and anime art which turns out to be quite amazing.
Characters: Deunan Knute (the female protagonist) is like the futuristic version of the awesome badass Shiki from KNK.
Enjoyment: I enjoyed this movie. 9/10
Encode: I didn't watch this particular encode so i'd say 8/10
A 'MUST' Watch anime! Fallen in love with this anime
Story: Set in a world after death, 'The Afterlife', a boy named Otonashi wakes up from the ground and has no idea where he is and no memories of what has happened. He sees a girl taking aim of another girl from afar with a sniper rifle. He is told by the girl that he is dead and he stands there confused.
This anime has a very wonderful story with amazing and beautiful visuals and art with stunning animation.
Animation: The animation is stunning! Really well animated fight scenes and effects.
Sound: The opening and ending theme songs sound really nice. It suits the anime itself. Soundtrack are good as well. There nothing to complain about here.
Characters: All the characters are interesting. Each and everyone of them very unique and have a sad ending to their 'previous' life in the 'real' world that is slowly revealed as you watch more and more.
Enjoyment: You'll definitely enjoy this one A LOT!
You will love the art
You will love the action
You will love the comedy (no seriously you will love it)
You will love the drama
You will fall in love with this anime!
Encode: 10/10 It's great.
One of my personal favourites
Story: Follows the peaceful lives of Sentan Islanders only to be bombarded with the concerns of brewing war as the North drops 'Humanforms' onto the island. A boy named Akiyuki is involved in a bus explosion set off by a girl from a mysterious cult and discovers that a 'Hiroku' is embedded into his arm which enables him to transform into a Humanform and fight. He is targeted by soldiers mistaking him for the enemies weapon.
This anime is one of my favourites. Its got stunning visuals and animation.
Animation: Bones has made one hell of a great anime. It definitely looks as if a lot of effort was put into the animation quality to the extent that i looks good enough to be a movie. There is plenty of action.
Sound: Opening theme song is catchy and Ending song best suits the end of the episode.
Enjoyment: Very enjoyable. Plenty of action so you won't be disappointed.
One of the best rom-com animes out there!
Story: The story is pretty simple. Romance in high school. A guy and a girl meets each other and apparently they happen to like each others best friend. They then agree to help each other out to get what they want.
Animation: Animation was good. It didn't disappoint me (I really liked the bitch fight which was more of a brawl)
Sound: oh man! i loved the opening and ending theme songs. Not only wer the songs great but the animation for them gives the anime 'style'! :D
Characters: What really got me interested in this anime were the characters. They've got the bullies and the Goodies bunched together. The female (Taiga) protagonist is a fearful student at school titled the 'Palmtop Tiger' and the male protagonist (Ryuuji) is feared by teachers and student because of his delinquent looks despite his gently personality. Their group consist of a joyful energetic Minori, well mannered vice president of student council Kitamura, and famous modeling Ami.
Enjoyable: All rom-com anime are enjoyable. This one in particular would be the most enjoyable.
Encode: Great for encode. Nothing really bad to say about it.
Almost laughed to death :O
Story: About Yoshii and his classmates. Apparently they are in the dumbest class with the crappiest funitures out of the whole school, the F class, and their aim is to beat the other classes til they reach class A. Because they fight other classes (by summoning character to fight) to advance to the next class, i guess it is a progressing story but its good.
Animation: Animation is great. There's nothing more i can say about it.
Sound: Opening and Ending songs are good. Soundtracks are good.
Character: I personally love them. Most of the ones in F class are idiots doing idiotic and embarrassing things in a way that will make you burst into laughter.
Enjoyment: You cannot get bored of this anime. Its impossible to get bored of this. Its comedy is too good!
Encode: A great job from th3k31. 10/10 for encode.
I Finished it. I loved it. i loved it again.
Story: About a gang war in Ikeburo.
Great progressing story. It is a bit complex but it is what will get you very interested in this anime.
Animation: The animation is good and won't disappoint you.
Sound: The opening and ending theme songs are great. Best suits this anime. The soundtracks are also great. Suits the atmosphere in the anime.
Character: Each character is very unique that you wont get bored of them. From the most strongest and violent Shizou to the most quiet but deadly Anri.
Enjoyment: Very enjoyable and 85% re-watchable imo.
Encode: Encode is superb. a 10/10. Awesome job th3k31!
