It is very rare that I mark an anime 10/10 but this one deserves it!

The animation is second to no other OVA/Series out there with a seamless mixture of CGI and traditional drawings that bring this show to life in ways I never thought possible until I watched Freedom. The OP and ED and sounds altogether are amazing and really pull this already fantastic show together like a "cherry on top".

The storyline and character creation and growth are superb, remember the reaction you had when you saw Akira for the first time all those years back? you will have that same feeling again and then some when you watch Freedom. It truly is a masterpiece that should be watched by all anime fans.

In conclusion if you love action, sci-fi, drama, conspiracies and better-than-hollywood story lines/plot/characters/effects/sounds/visuals you will love this show! Just watch it already what are you waiting for?!

Hand Maid May isn't a completely original concept plot wise or character wise but it's still very enjoyable and will be sure to make you laugh. The animation isn't anything special but considering it's 9yrs old at the time of writing this it still holds it's ground, the sound is good with the English voice actors being a lot better than most animes being dubbed today.

If you like Chobits and/or Midori No Hibi/Midori Days then you will love this lots of comedy and romance, those fun awkward situations and of course some good old ecchi thrown in for good measures. I watched this 9yrs ago and loved it and rewatched it recently and had the same smiles and laughs as I originally did. It is by no means an epic show but very enjoyable and short (possibly too short) and that's what anime is about right? good old entertainment!

If you like Chobits or Hand Maid May then this show is for you, as it follows the young guy with a cute robot girl storyline. Difference is Mahoromatic is a deadly decommisioned/retired military assault robot! But yeah to keep it short and sweet this show while having pretty generic plot and characters and soundtrack is still very enjoyable for Comedy, Action, Ecchi, Romance fans and I would say everyone should see it once for that memory bank. Also the best encode of this show I've seen online so far.

I first watched this show a couple of years back with Japanese soundtrack and absolutely loved it, I ended up watching all 24 episodes in a single Sunday day/night I was enjoying it so much! The storyline isn't exactly original with the whole apocalyptic earth setting and young male hero lead character etc but it's by no means cookie cutter either.

I've just watched the entire 24 episodes again over the weekend, this time with English audio, and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and great job of the English voice actors I enjoyed the show just as much as when I first watched it and laughed just as hard (and also wished for a second season again). This anime is a little gem that is usually overlooked by many or in most cases never heard of which is a shame indeed, so don't be one of the many missing out and check it out for yourself?!

If you like Comedy or Ecchi it's a must see! if you like Action or Adventure then this should feed your appetite too but be prepared for laughs along the way.

I totally disagree with the above review, you take this show way too seriously and critique it very harshly as if there was supposed to be some deeper purpose behind the show other than it being just plain silly and fun. Dokuro-chan is NOT supposed to have a deep storyline with a subtle hidden meaningful message it's just silly humor, and while you may think it "doesn't work" in it's comedy relief I'd have to disagree! There are plenty of anime shows with huge plots and complicated twists and storylines and hundreds of serious shows already, this is the kind of show where if you're having a bad day or a long day at work you can turn your brain off and enjoy with a few laughs.

The Animation fits perfectly well with the style of the show, the voice actors are great and the soundtrack is decent enough for such a short show, the characters are pretty generic cookie cutter style but still enjoyable. I watched this show a couple of years ago and laughed quiet alot and while it's by no means an epic show I would say that all anime fans should check it out atleast once (its only like 90mins altogether) and judge for yourself.
